You are very right- I have got the original anime aired on TV and the collectors edition, and when you said you'd let the amv do the talking I already knew that it was going to give me shivers- and it did. This is wonderful, but it reminds me of how the part from 0:01 to 0:20 is actually sang by these Aboriginals (or was it native americans?), and the band just took it without permission. They got sued, but it didn't work anyway. It's unfair how the band could just take credit for such wonderful singing not by them, I mean... I dunno, it's just like stealing :(

It tells about girl who is sick and somehow connected to this girl in past. I've seen the anime few times but it's lil confusing and really sad. This guy comes to the town where the girl with blond hair lives, they become friends, the girl starts getting more sick... watch it, but I warn you, it's sad and atlest I cried few times.

I think the first red there is blood that somehow maked chains around her... after all, the time Kanna flew is ancient times and maybe the arrows shot at her had curse to "cut" her wings off and by doing that they killed her...

The guy with the silver hair and the girl with the blond hair are reincarnations of an angel and a man who loved each other 100s of years ago. The blond girl has a mysterious sickness because the angel was cursed and killed back then. This anime here is part of the "Holy Trinity" of Air (This anime), Clannad and Kanon. All three of them are sad shows with varying degrees of sad endings.

Air is a really famous Anime, and most people have heard about it, and that's not without reason. BTW, if you liked ir, then you should see kanon too, just as beatifull, but there's two versions, you can choose wich one you want to see :P if you want to see it.

I think it may have something to do with the melody, since the melody in the song kind of reminds you about the various moments in the anime (SOO HARD TO EXPLAIN, sorry if you don't get it)......
