  • cool, cool, WTF WHATS THAT PIECE OF SHIT DOING ON THE SCREEN!

  • LOL!! Id love to see the Camira survive that last jump. Freeze frame to the rescue.

  • super wagon :/

  • Copy Renault & SAAB...

  • If I tried to do that with my Camira wagon now I think it would break in half

  • The Car looks old in this ad even before its old.

  • HOLY SHIT! Got air??? Those cars would have been cactus at the end!!!

  • I nearly bought a 'low Ks' 2nd hand camira wagon, got it checked by a mechanic, there wasn't a part on it not leaking oil, maybe the tyres. So I bought a LH Torana, 4cyl opel motor, wat a heap of shit that turned out to be. Wish i had got the renault 17, what a cool car that was, but i got talked out of it by my idiot mate.

  • commodores do fly but they make one hell of a smash when they hit the ground.

Bring back the 4 cyl commodore with the starfire 4 engine supercar.

  • Yeah bring back the shit cars with the shit engines. Great idea.

  • your comment really made me laugh!

  • @meringandan the mighty starfire...how could we forget that little choped down six pot motor...ya little ripper

  • those are the coolest wagons ive ever seen i want one

  • Suprising they do jump, It looks real unsafe to be tryin gthat in one of those cars. Great stuff here.

  • Looks like a remake of the isuzu commercials

  • Id like to see a holden camira jump nower days haha. that camira would be in tatters after the comercial. haha

  • It's finding it hard enough not to fall apart just driving at 60Ks!

  • why are they jumping?

  • To show off their precision handling. with radial tuned suspension. and rapid throttle response. Because that what you want in a station wagon apparently.

  • apparently the block would wear out before the piston rings cause metal they used was too soft..c/v joints..overheating..engine management..and gearbox toubles were just a few dramas this car of the year faced... lmao

  • Camira's were well ahead of their time though. Back in those days FWD was a novelty, especially in a car of the Camira size class. It's just a shame Holden didn't ensure their production quality was as good as the concept itself. By the time the JE Holden Camira was released, they had fixed virtually all of the problems. By that time though, the Camira name was shite...Shame.

  • You would be wrapped if u had of bought the "Camira superwagon" ..words can not describe how shit this car was...How could they ever put there name to the "Camira superwagon" is beyond me..but it made me laugh so its not all bad..

  • wow, the camira didn't fall to bits when it hit the ground, Thats a suprise.

  • listen to the little 1.6 rev as the commodores slow that was the noise they made a 40kmh i may be 13 but i own a camira auto you have to rev it to get it in gear so you dont stall it

  • Camira superwagon!

  • it was a shit box when it's was produced>>> my folks had one for 2 weeks and traded it back for a commodore.

  • My mum had one of them, it was a shit box by 1990.

  • Camira worst car to have the holden bage

  • Sure is, broke down every 10k's

  • My mate used a camira sedan in a smash up derby it came second lol

  • LOL, i'd be suprised if it had anything left by the end.

  • well the tail lights where behind the front seats after the race it came 2nd place because it was the only front wheel drive car on the track so it went faster in reverse then the other old cars

  • LMFAO

  • i doubt there would be too many camiras left now, one of the worst cars ever made.....

  • *pictures Camira wagon going over a jump and then falling apart as it hits the ground*

  • That would pretty much be the truth.

  • OMG! *repeats cars going over the jump*

Imagine an old heap doin that hahahaha

    *runs away and repeats*

  • This one really was just Holden together, had one until it started trashing its own engine, then fell apart from both ends when someone hit us from behind. Not their best one.

  • Presently there is Viva and Astra Wagon and Commodore should be coming soon.

  • And my parents are thinking about buying a VE wagon

  • Like to see how those wagons faired up after they launched them into the air like that! LOL (Don't remember those ads as a kid!)

  • That was 1983, when Holden had the most wagons they'd ever had in their lineups - they missed out Gemini wagon!

Actually in spite of its J-car origins, the Camira wagon actually WAS developed by Holden...

  • Hmmm, fair point, they forgot the Gemini, but I guess that Holden wanted to promote the Camira & they probably wanted to start of the ad with the most successful wagon they've got, the Commodore

  • VL wagon= Best made
