Yes, it is true. In a thrift store I found a old fashion toy car factory, but the belt was broken and the batteries didn't do anything, but I bought it anyway because i just moved the car chassis through it with my finger, but I lost the car parts.

im going round collecting all the matchbox cars,vans and lorrys that i had when a kid but no longer have or where painted or broken.Thats the good thing about getting older you can buy all the ones you want now aswell.
