talking about going to space, they only go 200 foot. They way they scale the rockets up at the end causes them the have a greater surface area as they scale up. They would never reach 5 miles/ second required for space flight. They way they scale up they would be able to go very high but never orbit.
@Rayzkevin Apparently you are not familiar with the definition of space nor anything about scale. And obviosly nothing about Armadillo Aerospace. This group took their original hydrogen peroxide, monopropellant system to a peak altitude of 67 miles at 2,300 miles per hour , this LOX that he is discussing is much more powerful.... This is the kind of thing that irritates the rest of the thinking world.. Why before shoving your foot in your mouth didn't you do the tiniest bit of research?
What he *means* is that, normally when you look at a map, you're looking at something that is "at scale," like 1/100,000th scale, etc. He'd just like to see the country he's from at 1/1 scale. Brainwashed? WTF?
He means being able to see the entire united states at one glance. He'd need to be in a fairly high orbit to see alaska, hawaii, maine, and florida all at once.
Wow! Well done documentary hints at revelations to come as we also see Earth-bound applications. Sky-crane, move over! Construction, Mining, Agriculture, wildfire fighting, all + peace could benefit. Please encourage Armadillo to consider that, lest Pentagon do hostile takeover, use Pixel to bring hell anywhere.

Yeah i ment reach orbit not space they can get to space but the will just fall back to earth after their fuel runs out.

@Rayzkevin But the fact is this was a test leading up to the lunar lander challenge, which they won in 2008.
Lunar lander challenge II was also won by this company in 2009.
I thought maybe the research would have unveiled some of these things for you. These guys will be in orbit in a few years...

@Rayzkevin lol I realize it can be tough to do any research, so I'll just leave you to your own corner of the world.
