Vid shows how nice it is to bimble on a Busa - I really enjoy a blast but, sometimes we aren't up for it and a quiet mile or two using the torque in top gear is all that I need to put a smile on my face. Everyone should try one of these things - cornering isn't up to smaller capacity standard but straight line stability is its forte and you have to ride one to believe it.

WHY A HAYABUSA???? not everyone is secure and needs a bike with power that you mostly wont use. unless you ride around going 160 all day whats the point. maybe something to just cruise around on. not everyone gets a bike to go 200mph. my 250r has better gas milage than a gixxer 750, better handling and cornering, lighter. thats like going on some guys videoo about his celica and saying "hey faggot that car sux a lomborgini is better. . see a 250r rider trollin on a bigger bike video.

@skourvoulianaki OK, I will bite...lol. Yes the BMW is 1/10 second faster. It is an awesome bike. The first Hayabusa was built in 1999. it was a completely new design. It was designed to beat the Blackbird. Which it did easily(even though Honda improved the XX). So much so that Honda soon threw in the towel and stopped trying. Today's Hayabusas have higher compression and more power to weight than the first generation Busas. That said..I DID NOT BUY ONE SOLELY FOR THE POWER!

2nd: XX sport tourer, yes. but Busa superbike ? :D Superbikes are the 1000cc bike, like GSX-R 1000, R1, 1000 RR and so on. Busa doesn't fit in any category, but its weight makes it a closer to touring ...Busa is faster than the XX was, but XX was also a brilliant bike (I used to have an 2003 XX, now I have a 2007 1000 RR).

I'm looking at getting a bike this summer. I've got a 99 5.4L V8 Ford F150, which costs so SO much to drive. I'd like a bike that'll get up and go and is fun as well, along with comfortable to ride for a long time. I'm looking at GSXRs, Ninjas, and Honda's CBR600RR's. I looked at the Hayabusa's but they seem like a little much for me. I'm strapped for cash and wanted to shoot for something like 5K. What would you recommend?
