Dave only co-wrote Jump In The Fire, Metal Militia, Phantom Lord, and The Mechanix (which James and Lars edited into The Four Horsemen) He also wrote the solo for Ride the Lightning and The Call of Ktulu, but nothing else. James is the main songwriter in Metallica, Dave did very little when he was with them
