I have studied Political Science, so I know the difference between socialism and Marxism (which is more akin to what Obama is suggesting with his comment on taxes). What you don't know is that Obama and other Dems "were" voting against funding the war. Bush told them that the soldiers will remain in Iraq with or without funding. After months of suffering from being underfunded, the dems had to put the soldiers first and take care of them until they could get them out. Bush ignored the public, the house and the senate. He was going to just let them suffer but wasn't going to withdraw them. Blame Bush.

You think science can explain everything, do you not ever wonder about non-explainable things that science has yet to figure out? take for example the book "90 minutes in heaven" about a man who was killed, yes killed in a car crash he was pronounced dead by 4 different paramedics then 90 minutes later came back to life. Now how do you explain that?
I can't explain it, because I know little about science. I have taken the classes I needed for my degree, but it is a foreign world to me. My husband tells me, however, that paramedics have short training periods and are not doctors, so I would question their expertise. However, as to my opinion on things not yet explained by science, I think the key word there is "yet". We have only been at this for a few hundred years. Be patient.
actually you would be suprised by the amount of knowledge a paramedic has. They are ususally the first 1's to see someone before a doctor when especially in life threatning situations like car wrecks and such. Also it is not that hard to figure if someone is dead. After 4 people well....need i say more. but anywho you have a nice life. All I can say is that if he was dead for 90 minutes and came back to life without severe brain damage, then he wasn't dead (or he has a hole in his head and oxygen was able to get into brain). A brain that is deprived of oxygen for that long cannot sustain life. The paramedics were wrong, and I would be willing to bet that any doctor would agree with me on that one. And as for Pascal's Wager, it's nothing but fear tactics. I'm not worried.

At the beginning of the primary season, I didn't really care for Clinton or Obama. I was hooked on Edward's corporate-busting message, but his campaign went bust. I went with Barack because I believed he was more keen than HRC, whom I viewed as an opportunistic corporatist. Obama's fatal flaw is his overzealousness to compromise. I have studied Political Science, so I know the difference between socialism and Marxism (which is more akin to what Obama is suggesting with his comment on taxes). I am VERY concerned with Afghanistan. They are talking about sending my brother over there. His marriage was ruined when he went to Iraq, then the military effectively abandoned him until they needed him again. His marriage won't survive another deployment. This is we are doing to our soldiers by allowing them to be used in this way.

Obamas spending tapers off after the first two years and his projection to cut the annual deficit to about 600bil by the 4th yr has not been disputed by either the CBO or the GOP(so I'd say its pretty solid). If Obama pulls troops out of the Middle East I will personally guarantee you 9/11 2.0 and beyond. Meaning when the last soldier leaves, the terrorsists will be plotting attacks all over the world because when we leave they'll see it as a victory and now no one can stop them. So hopefully Wednesdays morning papers will read Obama shot yesterday by unknown gunman. If they don't God help us all.

Hmmm. well it is your choice. I just don't understand how someone so smart could be so blind. The truth is all around you. You think science can explain everything, do you not ever wonder about non-explainable things that science has yet to figure out? take for example the book "90 minutes in heaven" about a man who was killed, yes killed in a car crash he was pronounced dead by 4 different paramedics then 90 minutes later came back to life. Now how do you explain that?

I can't explain it, because I know little about science. I have taken the classes I needed for my degree, but it is a foreign world to me. My husband tells me, however, that paramedics have short training periods and are not doctors, so I would question their expertise. However, as to my opinion on things not yet explained by science, I think the key word there is "yet". We have only been at this for a few hundred years. Be patient.

actually you would be suprised by the amount of knowledge a paramedic has. They are ususally the first 1's to see someone before a doctor when especially in life threatning situations like car wrecks and such. Also it is not that hard to figure if someone is dead. After 4 people well....need i say more. but anywho you have a nice life. Just remember if im wrong and there is no God then i have lost nothing but my sundays going to church, while you...well you have lost everything

All I can say is that if he was dead for 90 minutes and came back to life without severe brain damage, then he wasn't dead (or he has a hole in his head and oxygen was able to get into brain). A brain that is deprived of oxygen for that long cannot sustain life. The paramedics were wrong, and I would be willing to bet that any doctor would agree with me on that one. And as for Pascal's Wager, it's nothing but fear tactics. I'm not worried.

Ralph Nader is an inspirational man who has given his life to the American people, in order to improve their qualities of life. He would be a better leader than any we have seen in years. Thanks for the heads up; I bought "Origin of Species" yesterday, as a matter of fact, and am looking forward to finding those contradictions. As for the book you suggested, I have heard about it, but I have no interest in reading it. I grew up in church, so I pretty much know what he has to say. It was a purely subjective experience, so there is really no way to either prove or disprove it. If it helps you (and others) to find peace, then I'm all for it. Just not for me, thank you.

At the beginning of the primary season, I didn't really care for Clinton or Obama. I was hooked on Edward's corporate-busting message, but his campaign went bust. I went with Barack because I believed he was more keen than HRC, whom I viewed as an opportunistic corporatist. Obama's fatal flaw is his overzealousness to compromise. That caused him to cast a lot of BAD votes in the Senate, including FISA. Still, I'm glad I voted for Barack considering the epic fail Mcfailin/Palin was offering.

Have you paid attention to who he will be surrounding himself with? Rahm Emmanuel, Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden, etc...where's the change? First, you demand that I give up my 1st Amendent rights, then you make a false assertion that I "voted wrong". How can I vote wrong? I looked at all of the facts presented by all of the candidates, and went with the one I felt was the best-qualified. I didn't vote for a Republican, which you would know if you had actually paid attention to my video, rather than to start typing furiously as soon as you saw the title. And to be honest, I'm pretty disappointed with Obama's decisions thus far.
