Actually sex ed in Elementary school is very important because girls get their periods by the time they're in gr 6/7. As a parent, you even get to make the choice as to put your daughter or son in a sex-ed class, they send a permission slip home. WOW, again overturning Roe V Wade does not make abortion illegal dumbass. It takes it out of the federal governments hands and makes it a state issue, which is where it should be. Did you noticed that Soviet Red Army was prepared to invade Japan before? No long fighting in Japan. If they were invaded by both USA and USSR they would resign instantly and no atomic bombs would be needed. Atomic bombs were used just as a demonstration of the power against the Soviet Union.

You are partially right. She wants to stop abortion and she wants to stop sex ed in elementary schools. Obama wants sex ed to be taught to first graders. I gotta lean towards Palin on this one. If I found out somebody was teaching my 7 year old daughter sex ed, I would kick the shit out of them in the schools hallway.

Get your facts right before you go insulting people. The bill he voted for and stands by is "SEX ED". It covers MORE than inapropriate touching. And I want the choice as to whether my son or daughter learns about male & female productive organs in elementary school. I want that right. Nobody but me and my wife will be teaching my children these things. That's MY damn job. Not anybody elses. When they are in middle school, fine. That is the time for schools to teach sex ed.

Actually sex ed in Elementary school is very important because girls get their periods by the time they're in gr 6/7. Elementary sex ed isn't that inappropriate anyway, it mainly regards periods and wet dreams which kids should know about ahead of time. As a parent, you even get to make the choice as to put your daughter or son in a sex-ed class, they send a permission slip home. And honestly, kids rather hear it from their teachers than their parents to avoid awkwardness.

I appreciate your respectfulness. I believe that we would agree on much of this. They r our kids. We want to protect them. But Obama wants to make sex ed MANDATORY. Not a choice. It will start in 1st grade. I've not seen the curriculum.I don't know the whole story. But I don't believe it is appropriate for a 1-3 grader to be discussing sex with a teacher and f they insist, I would pull my kids out of public school. 6/7 grade is different n my opinion but my opinion should count w/ my own kids.

WOW, again overturning Roe V Wade does not make abortion illegal dumbass. It takes it out of the federal governments hands and makes it a state issue, which is where it should be. Well the house gets changed every 2 years. It could very easily become republican and all congress does is confirm appointments, its the executive branch that has the real power of appointing the judiciary branch, so Palin could still keep abortion in the hands of the federal government and push it to become illegal through the courts.
and there's more problems with the McCain ticket than just the abortion issue, thats not even a big one. The McCain-Palin ticket is a big fail at everything.
