  • Thank you Brule for a well made beautiful and powerful video. It gave a peek into yesterday and my heart still cries for our grandmas and grandpas who had to give so much of themselves in order for us to live today.

  • Tiocfaidh 'ar'la my friend.....

  • I really wish I was born back then, It would have been a wonderful experience to live in the old days, but it's true, the old days of our people are forever gone

Yeah I would agree I do get home sick when I see things like this

But I know that things won't ever be the same

I'm proud to be Native American

I'm proud to come from a beautiful heritage

I don't see why we get judged and stereo typed a lot

I love this band a lot

  • The "Old Days" may be gone, yet what made the Old Days Happen is still within all of us. Look within and you will find that the True Human Spirit Made the Old Days Happen.

In this Modern Crowded Crazy World the Old Ways can happen again. Sure, they will not be exactly as it was 200 years ago, the "New Old Ways" will be of contemporary times, the the True Human Spirit will make the Old Ways happen again and again.

  • Native Americans defended their lands sacrificing their lives for the generations to come.

    Native Americans are cool!

  • I have been to the places shown in this video. When hubby and I went to Pine Ridge in 2006. Until you have been there to see things for real, we can all say what nice pictures, they don't begin to tell the story what its like there. Heart breaking to see how our people are being made to live.

  • no words can describe the imense respect I have for the people of this land.

I apologise for my ancestor's greed and hostility and will do all that I can as a modern day american to help fight for your rights.

    one of your advocates,

    Frances

  • We are losing our soul. My father had more soul than I do and sadly, I have more soul than my children. Modern society has drained our soul.

  • i love being native and knowing on how we good we treated mother earth and everything she put on this earth sumtimes i wish we still lived in original homes and the way things used to be now we are living in such different ways sumtime ppl tend to foget bout our past and are sumtimes greedy and yet they want to judge people i just love on knowing how my ancestors live so free spirited :D

  • All nice and beautiful places always are priced by someone or some peoples who always wants to earn some extra $ no matter who or what they'll hurt. Here in my country are places so beautiful that some jerks wants to grab it and transform it beauty into an urban development or so.

We must stop this activities. There are places and lands not for sale and priceless.

Because we, all of us are the owners and we don't sell nothing. It's for our childrens and their children's childrens.

  • no one is defined by the color of their skin by defining whites by it you are judging them like they judge another just cause you are white doesnt make you bad and just cause you are native doesnt make you true to the tribe. people are the actions they choose not who they were born to you're childish!

  • Wow, I hope that the government would at least stop putting a price on the Black Hills. We're not after money. The black hills are too beautiful to sell...I loved the video.

  • thank you so much im oglala sioux and it rips my heart when i go home and visit and watch the cali yuppies tearing up the race track AKA the entrance to gods land for buildings in the mountains would they go and tear down mecca in the middle east? i love the black hills and i get homesick when away and brule brings the passion of the area out so beautifully

  • The faces say everything.

  • Brule and AIRO have done great work to bridge two worlds. They have touched my heart and I am sure hearts of many. Listen and you will be forever changed. May we all learn and help heal the gap created in years past.

  • Great song and video...May the Great Spirit bless the remnant of all the Native American Tribes...

  • Thank you for this video. May we never forget where we came from and who we are.

  • very good

  • I'm jealous!

  • Very well done, Hawk. This is an interesting panorama linking past to present.
