its not against the law to hold your phone whilst driving you are only not allowed to make a call and if you disable the ability to send or receive text msg you can use it to talk on whilst driving . so get a life and find out facts before posting comments! and you have to do some thing that endangers other road users before you can be prosecuted .

The old man is totally Irresponsible I agree.... But then so is the driver recording the incident! The video is clearly made from the drivers side of the vehicle as the steering wheel can be seen being operated with only the left hand.

What makes it worse is the fact that the driver admits NOT being alone in the car - Why didnt his friend do the recording??? - then he would be qualified to criticise someone elses faults... :)

I'm 72 and very impressed indeed. Somebody my age is able to do some lateral thinking about getting his stuff home. As far as I can make out he did get home safely. He got the carpet home. He gave a whole lot of folks something to laugh at. I would never have even thought of doing it my way like he did. I love it - three cheers for all oldtimers who - unlike me - can still figure things out.
