Looking forward to a great series if the first two games are any indication. The Flyers should have won game one in my opinion and Montreal dominated long stretches of game two and deserved a decision. In the end I believe goaltending (Biron) will ultimately be the difference between the clubs and carry the Flyers to the conference finals.

These habs fans are brutal. They really do think they are a much better team and blame everything on 'Biron' and 'luck'. Based on what? They have a good captain in Koivu, and Kovalev CAN play good sometimes. But after that they have a rookie goalie and a bunch of names you can't even recognise, let alone pronounce! Despite a 19-12 pp advantage habs are down 3-1 and it could have easily been a sweep. Don't forget, there was only a 9 pt diff in the final standings.

no, everyone THINKS it, because that's the reputation the nhl has perpetuated about us, but it's bullshit. i've watched probably 80 flyers games this year, and i can say, without a doubt, that the only dirty play any flyer has committed all year was the jesse boulerice cross check in the head. he deserved every game of what he got and probably more. but please, since you know so much about it, name for me one instance in which the flyers have cheated this year.

not like it really matters. the flyers have completely outplayed and outclassed the canadians in this series. hatcher gets five minutes and tossed from the game for a no brainer 2 minute boarding minor, and kostopolous gets 2 minutes for punching our top player in the face between plays.
and let's not forget about the beer bottle a capitals fan threw at jeff carter's head ten minutes after game 7 had ended. but you're right, it's the flyers and philadelphia fans who are dirty.

Looking forward to a great series if the first two games are any indication. The Flyers should have won game one in my opinion and Montreal dominated long stretches of game two and deserved a decision. In the end I believe goaltending (Biron) will ultimately be the difference between the clubs and carry the Flyers to the conference finals.

philadelphia is the louder of two arenas they made the comparison on a local show after games 1-2 compared to 3-4 with sound meters, 2nd place isnt too bad... looks like you'll be finishing 2nd this series too.
