Thanks for a great tutorial! I finally know how to do a smokey eye. I just tried this with the MAC eyeshadows I own, close to the shades you mentioned. I'm MAC NC43 so I used: naked lunch, cork, handwritten, carbon. Instead of gel liner, used Smolder eye kohl. Can't wait to go out soon.

i was reading this article that featured kim k's make up artist and he was saying that her eye shape makes his job easier and that's why her eye make up stands out so much. you have the same almond eye shape and this look looks gorgeous on you! that contouring trick makes a HUGE difference..gotta try it.
