I just got me a 1997 Intruder VS800 last week. It's my first bike, and I thought the size and power of the engine would be too much at first, but it's an easy bike to learn and ride all day, but has the power and handling to be a permanent cruiser. I love it so much, i'll probably buy another one when this one has had it's run... it's got 16,000 miles and i'm getting ready to double that in about a year!

Had one just like it, same year silver and all, except i had cobra pipes on mine. Had to sell it because of a lay off from my job, sucked. I loved that bike. Bought it new, got just enough to pay it off when i sold it. Wish I had it back

i just bought one just like it today. I had never ridden a bike before and drove it 85 highway miles back home. I am reall going to enjoy this bike

Just got one myself a 1993 with only 10,000 miles on it! The accessories are costing more than the bike itself!
