@pn2112 next tip dont buy from a pet shop..usually comes from puppy mills, just saying. Unless your pet shop is trust worthy, buy it from a good breeder. :) by the way awesome dogs.
when you put the dog in your pool did it clog the filter with hairs? haha mine did, and the side of ur pool didn't get scratched when he went for that ring?
This pool in the movie is at my husband`s father (how do I say that in English?) and he complained A LOT about the hair cloging. I hear about it until today!
And I don`t know if Tux scratched the pool when trying to get the ring... I wish he didn`t!!
where did they sleep on their first night? in your room or living room or something :P cuz i'm getting a puppy and i dont know where to let her sleep yet.
... I let them sleeping in a service room for the first 10 months. When they began to control poo and pissing, I gradually let them free to sleep where they wanted. Today they are 11 months and they like to sleep in my bedroom door (the only place I don`t let them in is my room). I recommend reading Cesar Millan and all the books about dogs that you can. Good luck!

I learnt that if you take them to your room in the first night, they will always want to sleep there. So unless you intent to let them sleeping with you forever, you`d better take them to some place else for their first night.
i think all goldens love to play in water and roll around in the grass when they are wet. Our Simon learned to swim last June. Now we can't keep him out of the pool. You might enjoy some of our video's
