Blagojevich was right, and it was more of the same; Mr. Fitzgreald did not want to have all of the tapes played, becuase he did not want to deal with the embarassment of how weak his case against Blagojevich was. His arrest on Dec 9, 2008 set in motion a chain of events that took a Governor away from the people of Illinois; and gave Micheal Madigan the free hand to impose his perverse will upon the people of Illinois, with higher taxes, and allwoing gays to get married.

The issue here is his case. He is still innocent until proven guilty. But when you arrest someone because you have something to prove (evidence) that this person is about to do a crime, and now suddenly you don't want to present the same evidence in his trial...It makes you wonder...either the evidence is weak, there are more people involved or someone just messed up. I am surprised Blago wants the same evidence to prove his innocense.

I'm from Illinois, and Blago was our elected governor. I didn't agree with much of his liberalism, but he was our problem, not Fitzgerald's. The Feds raided this man's house at 6 am to make him a public spectacle. That was totally abhorrent and unclassy, and this will blow up in their face in the end. It's some damning evidence on those tapes; Blago's is not the only politician's voice on them. They also feature the Chicago gang currently in the White House.
