You cable could make NO DIFFERENCE unless you ripped all the cables out of the walls and replaced those with shielded ones, then the same for the cables under the street etc
Shielding the last couple of metres won't make any difference to sound reproduction
They do not incorporate spike removal nor surge protection so are no different to any other mains cable ( EXCEPT in price )
I contend they are snake oil for the gullible and enfeebled of mind who don't understand audio engineering
