TAP stands for Tactical Application Police, they are the rounds that really "fuck shit up", so much so that they are used by SWAT teams and things of that nature. you know what makes them so good? they have a plastic tip and core, giving the round a better ballistic coefficient, which makes it more accurate, and it also acts like a hollowpoint construction, causing the jacket to expand upon impact uniformly, which is actually better than a standard hollowpoint
