Transformers has advertising contracts with GM just like many other movies have advertising contracts with other big companies. and why the hell would they put an import into a movie that's about badass, freakishly huge robots that love to blow shit up? that pretty much screams american muscle!

Spyder Scuderia: From looks of the spy shots the car looks to be an enthusiast's creation. If you look the interior it is that of a standard F430 that has been upgraded (F430 Dash/Center Unit/Leather Seats). The car in the pictures also looks to be on display which a test car wouldn't. A spyder version of the scuderia would be compromising its track abilities, which ruins the point. It is possible that they are making one but from these pictures it looks doubtful.

They're about as ergonomic as a Ford Model T, fast in a straight line as a Corvette, dangerous in the corners like an 80s Porsche, and made out of light shit that pretty much flops around as you drive. Also, a convertable Scuderia is an oxymoron. If you're making a lightweight, hardcore, car with track use in mind why weaken the structure and add weight. The obvious answer is sales but that takes away from the exclusivity of owning a Scuderia. WTF Ferrari!?!
