European corporations are taking over the U.S. and I hope Americans could hang on to the European competition. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
Timothy Geithner is a brilliant genius man, and he will save the economy. Obama has appointed some tremendous people. I am so proud to be an American.
I don't always agree with Alex Jones, but I did here that Canada would be getting about 17% of GM stock-that to me does show signs of an integrated 'North American Union' -or 'slavery for all' (as I like to say)-come hook or crook I think they probably will try to implement that also fairly soon!
problem is not planning for the future. a business person plans ahead sometime decades ahead. if your ceo of gm you would especially plan decades ahead. they got eaten by the competition not the economy. japan has a shit economy and look at toyota. american die hards never learn from mistakes of the past.
problem is not planning for the future. a business person plans ahead sometime decades ahead. if your ceo of gm you would especially plan decades ahead. they got eaten by the competition not the economy. japan has a shit economy and look at toyota. american die hards never learn from mistakes of the past.
gm was inefficient. their cars did not keep up with the times. japanese cars are not having this problem and in fact doing well even though japan's economy has been lack luster for decades. they could have survived the bad economy if the higher ups of the company planed ahead. they didn't and they went down when times got hard. guess what a responsible leader plans for times like these.
I really appreciate your summaries. Yes I've heard all the numbers and points before, but I love how you put it all together in one place, and then add your commentary, which is bang on. Thanks man!
I heard on the radio in Canada: for every car sold this year....
If the Government were to put A TAX on every car sold this year in Canada INSTEAD of bail outs. Every GM car would be taxed an extra $14,705. Note: Canada owns only 12% of GM now.
....anyone know what the U.S. "car tax" would be?.......the U.S now owns 60%..
capitalism should be just that....if a company can turn a profit then it survives, if it does not, it goes under...why prop up a dying company and tell us it cant fail? it already has and we are still throwing money at it.....love our government
from what I've read, GMAC and the derivatives wrapped up in that part of GM is the reason why they had to be bailed out, not because they wanted to save the auto workers or auto production portion of GM. It's all about the looting of the financial system right now, getting as much out as possible and dumping the crap on the US taxpayer.
I seriously feel we have an illegitimate government. The government should act as a disinterested third party to ensure the integrity of the markets. What we have is a government that is clearly in bed with the banksters to the detriment of its own people. Down with the slimy, evil, scheming banksters and down with our corrupt, evil, manipulative, propagandizing, phony government!!!! There is NO hope for this country anymore. Certainly no hope for peaceful change, I fear.
It is an illegitimate government. The US isn't a country, it's a COMPANY. How can they act on behalf of the people when they are acting on behalf of their corporation?
It's sad. Everyone is "selling" gold and silver, and apparently jumping into stocks and oil (why oil?) on "good news" about the economy even with GM finally going into CH. 11.
What good news? This reminds me of September when we had a rally on news of Fannie and Freddie going down on a Monday, but then the rest of the week was met with horrible losses.
GM was a bunch of crusty old men unwilling to change their ways. I am always a camaro fan but you've got to hand it to Toyota and Honda the true kings of the car world.
GM is just another means for the banksters to syphon off our money.....the only way to get back is TAKE ALL YOUR MONEY OUT OF THE BANKS....do not play their game!!!
We're going DOWN -- plain & simple. The dollar index plummeted to 79. Next stop 68. We, the American sheeple have NO IDEA what is happening to us.
I just gave a friend a hand rotary mixer from the 1950s-- it says "Made in America" and it works perfectly. The "Made in China" mixer they sell at Williams Sonoma has plastic gears -- and it works like CRAP. We are in DEBT for poorly made JUNK-- and we no longer have the factories to make the "Made in America" egg beater from the 1950s!!
Thank you crabbydogtrix, my news came out with some BS that GM is now Government owned, it really p*ssed me off because the Government owns NOTHING, WE THE PEOPLE now own that share in this GM mess. My news stated 30 BiL more to GM.
*sigh*, I hear that and follow it with my own...*sigh*.
well here is what is "stimulating" the City of Rochester
2009-10 capital improvement budget
The spending plans calls for $24 million dollars over the next two years to complete Phase I of the project, which would re-water the aqueduct. The vast majority of that money is expected to come from federal stimulus funds
The mayor envisions a place where people can skate in the winter and paddle boat in the summer
oh yay... prob about 50bil to complete, so we have a place to skate??? wtf
Also you look a litle tired a times, which I fully undersand in the absurdity of this world. Take a nice walk in the park, lie down under a tree and relax. It will give you a lot of positive vibes and you'll come back with even greater videos :)
I've been watching your videos for the last 2 weeks, you speak a lot of truth and it's nice to see someone with critical thinking.
Perhaps a comment is that your analysis emphasises more on govermnent/corporation behaviour, whereas I believe it is a direct consequence of people's behaviour and heavy consumption. Boycott is such a strong weapon we don't use and it would no doubts put corporations on their knees. However it involves people taking an interest in their actions...
the truth is your being pillaged but they are giving you excuses as to why. Its good to know these details and to evidence it to others but all the details of the trees do evidence a forest is there. The forest big picture is USA endgame. A an economic rape and it has been done before.
But now it is Americas time because it went over its production peak and thus can be considered ripe! Sorry guys, I am but smell the roses.
I liked my 2003 Impala and now I love my 2009 Cobalt. Best things about my Cobalt is that it's a stick shift, I can fit it in my garage and it gets even better milage than my Impala did. I love that I can use my MP3 player in it. One thing I miss is my Impala's V6, it had a lot of get up and go.
100 days?? The Dems have been in charge of Congress (thus the spending) for over 2 years. They came blame Bush all they want, but they have had plenty of time to control spending and set this economy on the right track. Obviously, they don't want to do that then and don't want to do that now. Great video - thank you for putting your thoughts out there.
I loved GM cars as a kid in the fifties and sixties, but the leadership of GM...watch Michael Moore's first documentary...that Smith as CEO really screwed up the company. Is the leadership of America screwing up our country, too? ya think?
I find myself checking in every day now to see what your take is on the latest. Just got back from the grocery store- a couple was in the baking aisle comparing prices and picking up large bags of flour and meal. I glanced at their cart and saw beans, tomato sauce, dried milk, etc. I ventured to ask: "Doomers?" Yes, in fact they are. We had an interesting conversation about current events. I think there are more people like that out there than we think. Just quiet about it.
I have said exactly the same on many occasions. There are more people preparing that we believe. They just keep quiet about it, due to the 'backlash' of openly expressing their feelings/beliefs.
If we had equal tariffs, foreign cars would cost a lot more than US cars. As they should. That would fix it real quick. Nothing wrong with this economy that 40 cents a gallon wouldn't fix in a big hurry. All they have to do is push the right buttons, any time they freekin' feel like it...
Cheap fuel would help the farmers. Hay was so spendy this past winter-- had to wonder if I could keep my horses. I was kinda counting on them for transport after TSHTF. I was thinking a chariot is light and maneuverable.
Bond holders (the real owners) take a HUGE loss and get 10%. Gov gets 70% and unions get 20%. The majority owners now have no interest nor know how to have a company make a profit. It will be interesting to watch the unions sit on the other side of the table. This is a sad day for sure. This is just the beginning for all other industries. Insurance companies are next, wait and watch. We are in some serious SHIT and there is no stopping it. I think people are starting to feel like my last vid.
c'mon you can't be that surprised. This is the dismantling of america, and all going according to plan. All the sectors will be government owned or controlled.

It will be a sad day.. my dad was a GM retiree... he's kissing his retirement from them goodbye...what was once NOW 200 bucks a month will be reduced to 30.00 no big deal. But hey a person effected from this.
this was preplanned.. sigh I am really tired of ALLL of this. what is it gonna take? will we walk into the cattle shut waiting for the injection button on our heads.
Dude, I always prompt you up.. but to be honest you truely depress me.
You speak the thruth... beers on me if you ever visit florida.
Agreed, Insanity is an understatement. I don't even know what to say to this one.. It is freaking lame, and great for us and our progeny. I know what you mean about the sheeples actually being brainwashed into thinking these bailouts are good? What the hell are people smoking that they are so freaking brain-dead? Oh wait, they probably still believe money grows on trees! LOL
Hey brother. GM isn't going to be ours. Don't know where that came from, but yeah. It's a pretty sad issue mate, but it's not going to stop there. Police brutality is running rampant in the US right now. I'm afraid this summer is going to be the jaw breaker- literally.
Is anyone really happy about this?

To be honest, i seriously think we have 2 possible futures now:
1:the country collapses, and the rich get richer for killing off competition.
2:totalitarian government.
Either way i don't see how this country can last at this rate, at least free, which might be the plan.
Gotta love the sheeple and our "Free media".
