low brass needs some practice at the beginning. Its pretty sounding cept the tone. They have the right idea of how the piece goes. I think the third flute kinda ruined the imitation and the trumpet came in late&&sound funny. Sorry I'm so critical. French horn sounds nice tho.

seriously, it doesn't take 10 minutes to tune the band; just play some scales together and listen down to the lower voices. It makes all the difference.

totallydude44 i know what u mean but a 100 piece ensemble can have 100 pro's who have good individual tones but if they are not in tune together and playing with each other they will not sound good

this is not a symphonic piece this needs to be played by a wind ensemble because the control is not there

very nice playing, but the conductor lacks expressive movements. Mirroring is a good thing only at certain times. Also, this is a very moving peice; slow and melodic...not usually something we hear from Ticheli, so I think her left hand can do mroe with phrasing and shape.

I do not lack correct spelling, but I did, however, lack the ABILITY at the time of this post to spell two words correctly. And as long as you are bringing me back to this video, some class time spent on playing in tone and in tune could be very beneficial.
