i have fallen in love with the Dueck Defense RTS Sights but one issue/question i have is, what do you do if you have to weak hand shoot?? such as having to shoot around the LEFT side of a barricade or cover?? im assuming you just have to relearn a technique with the other eye...this is the only drawback i can fore-see with this system! can you explain how you handle this with that shooting system or even better demonstrate and teach it with another video?
anyone try these out personally? I like the idea of it but I dont know how much that is going to effect my aiming holding the gun to the side like that I could see 50yrd targets being easy but what about 150-200yrd range?
I know this vid is about the rapid transition iron sights... but what scope is he running on the AR? With the Red thing in the back. Forgive my "glass" ignorance
My opinon is a quick release mount for your optics, and then utilize your iron sights. Its crazy how most people rely soly on their optics, but never zero in their Irons, just in case.
thats why i dont use flip up sights and just co-witness irons with my optic... oh shiny red dot on the target fire shiny red dot gone done even have to change anything just start focusing on the irons instead
good point. i never thought about that, two things im getting, a throw lever mount from larue and a set of RTS. have you personaly run a class with anyone or have you gotten mud on an optic or cracked one? just curious, was wondering how you would deal with it if you needed a tool to take off your optic and it was cracked. prolly just pull your knife or somthing and get the glass out of your way by breaking the lens loose.
@nirsi19 Man! First of all, fuck how they marked your QUESTION as spam! Anyways though, the magazine is called the Surefire MAG5. This specific one is the 60-rounder while they also make a 100-rounder as well. It's actually an amazing magazine. Check out all the specs. except the 100-rounder is not worth it because of the length.
@1776PatriotTeen nice, you don't know how lucky you r! Here in Holland they are very anti-gun, and especially to self defending type use of fire arms and knifes. Think the next time about me when shooting and have a good time:D

Awesome sights. I'm getting them for my M&P 15 to compliment my Nikon M223 3-12x.

I thought this was gimmicky until I saw him actually shooting with it. Seems like a viable backup.

cool... maybe a flip up version, to lower the profile coming out the side of your gun could potentially hang up with gear?

Damn, another double feed in this vid, too? That sucks.
Like I said in the other video though, they technically still have time to resolve any possible issues with these. I'm still surprised though...
