i recently went to a devils game that i got free tickets and being a rangers fan, it was weird. it was martys first game back.I have one thing to say, i have never hated the devls more than after that game. Brent, u dipshit, Marty "The Whiner" Brodeur has been in the NHL for 15 years while Lundqvist has been here for four years. Plus, Brodeur averaged like 17 saves a night in his first 5 seasons, while Lundqvist make at least double that every night. And, Lundqvist has a record that Brodeur can never achieve, and thats getting at least 30 wins in his first for seasons as an NHL goalie. Wins are a team effort douche bag.

not true this year. after last night against the islanders, lundqvist has a sv% of .927, better than brodeur's .919. also, lundqvist has faced nearly 100 more shots than brodeur, alloving a mere 20 goals against out of 275 shots. Brodeur, in comparison, allowed 16 of 197. so get out of the past, people. brodeur's era of unopposition is over. Now is lundqvists time (also,lundqvist is the second goalie in nhl history to be nominated for the vespia in each of his first three years in the nhl. ha)

lol no ur right but did u see the ranger game onsaturday when the rangers played the penguins? i went to that game at the garden, yo with 8 seconds left in the 3rd period, Zherdev tied it up the place went wild then in OT, Lundqvist made the saves that only he can make, nd he blocked Crosbys shootout goal nd the rangers won 3-2 it was a great game

I don't think bad is a strong enough term to describe the Rangers giving up two shorthanded goals in the same game to a struggling isles team. I can't remember when the last time that happened to any team. I don't put the whole blame on Rozsival for making two bad defensive b/c they're power play was god awful as well. Renney needs to instill some real discipline into these players so they dont keep making the same mistakes

since you were actually one of the only devils fans ive EVER seen who actually doesn't literally LIVE to completely bash the rangers, i will say this:
Brodeur is GREAT, the best to ever play the game. I doubt anyone will truly be better than him. But, and this isnt biased in the least, Lundqvist is playing better hockey so far this season. Some of the saves he's made are unreal, especially in OT against the Pens

the ONLY thing that, honestly, brodeur could use some work on, is wraparounds
Even Devils fans probably agree that he can't really handle wraparounds too well(eg. stephane matteau, adam graves, brian leetch, in the playoff series' in 94 and 98 i think graves was 98, mightve been 97)
but brodeur is the greatest goalie ever to play the game and im free to accept that. i only screw around with devils fans who are complete annoying dickholes =P

I agree, I give devil fans shit b/c they think their team is "Gods Gift" to hockey...but they don't realize that having Brodeur, who is the most consistent goalie as far as not being injured, games played, and his ability to played well consistently, is what makes their team so good. Without Brodeur the Devils are a average team. They have that intimidation factor working for them b/c the 1st thing teams think of when they play the devils is how they are going to solve brodeur
