Well in WWII Hitler just took citizenship away from the Jews and other peoples, therefore as Americans our citizenship could be taken away because the fact we even talk about this we could be considered as aiding the the enemy. So it doesn't matter if we are citizen or foreigner, if they come and perhaps capture a citizen (maybe you, maybe me) you will not be able to speak to a lawyer or in most cases have a trial therefore who would even know if you are a citizen or not anymore.

Technically, each case is reviewable by the the supreme court, if that is of any comfort. Previous to this ruling "any person" on US soil was protected by the US constitution. Citizens can never be stripped of their right to Habeus corpus, not yet anyhow!
