As a true fan, I am so sad with this interview. There is no explanation to my thoughts, I have expressed them in the past. On a positive note, LZ seems to be incurring a deep womanly tone to her singing voice. Truely outstanding.

This interview is so sad hearing her talking about feeling too fat and not fitting into her stage costumes at the age of only 12...now knowing that she battled Anorexia from a very young age and died from complications of it at the age of 35. This is heartbreaking.

she was beautiful, talented and a great character! i think more people now need to understand and appreciate her and what she did, i am 13 and i think more people my age should like her. it's so sad what happened to her and this interview shows where her illness started....:0)

@TheoxSamxx The Lena Zavaroni story is ia stange one. There are very few artists who's life story is told so vividly, in pictures and interviews. Her story is heartbreaking because so many people think her illness and untimely death, could have been avoided. Yet I am not sure, you cannot take a horse to water ie, force them to eat. Let's enjoy her talent, there is nothing to be gained in associating LZ with anorexia today.That's in the past, just remember Lena as a fantastic singer she was.

Me gusto el reportaje, Lena estuvo muy natural y comunicativa. Yo no entiendo muy bien el idioma ingles pero me parecio muy jnteresante lo que ella contò. En 1976 yo tenia 14 años, si la hubiera conocido en ese momento le pedia matrimonio tambièn...¡Ja!..¡Ja!..la verdad es que era una personita maravillosa, para enamorarse eternamente.

Lena really was such a lovely girl. Not only did she have a great siging voice but she was polite, charming, humorous and totally at ease in front of the cameras. All at 12 years of age.. A classic case of an old head on young shoulders.

It's so sad that she died so young after suffing so many problems. She could have been a fantastic role model over the years and not just for children..

I can't stop crying. I wish I could go back in time and save this adorable kid from the tragic fate that awaited her.

I've been learning all about Lena and watching many videos over the past day or so. I was born in the same year as her but only vaguely knew of her until now.

Every soaring vocal is at once uplifting and saddening for me. And this interview was too much. I'm a weeping mess now. But I don't regret a second of the time I've spent discovering her. Thank you for these videos.
