I used to do sound back in the day and remember the Omni well. A total dump in a really bad neighborhood in Oakland, CA. it had really high ceilings which gave you really bad sound, obviously the sound here was taken direct from the console. One time I did sound for a band that was opening for Alice In Chains and Mooky Blaylock(sp) who would later change their name to Oearl Jam. It was quite a night. I got AIC to sign their first CD for me, I still have it.
The one in the video was a copy of an old Epiphone he used to play in his early days with Racer X. I believe the guitars were custom made for Paul and Bruce, therefor there are no others.
I lived in Vacaville,CA I had a bunch of frends drive down from Oregon though... They snuck down, 7 hour drive, and thier motor blew up in the parents car on the way back, they were grounded for many many months after that,,, great times though
Yep, I was in San Ramon back then. My friend Trevor and I were at the show as well. 18 years old and rokkin out hard! To this day no one shreds as well as Racer X!
@Kii777 Ibanez custom Wilshire, to be more precise XD, with a mini PAF set in neck position and I believe a standard hum in bridge position, Kahler flat mount trem (I don't know much about Kahlers, so I don't know the model)
@02tweeks Yeah, i believe it resembles the wilshire body style that epiphone rereleased fairly recently. its funny cuz for a while, i was wondering the same thing. i'm sure a lot of people were- those guitars seemed to just dissappear.
I just clicked on the dislike bar. I'm evil .
