  • This voice and song style is indelible in the mind of every Kurd from East and South Kurdistan. they are our essence and ethos. Although the whole atmosphere of Mazhar's songs are timeless, the fact remains that they are from a by gone era when we were all were united in our grief, pain and aspirations which sadly has now been superseded by materialism. It should all be said that the driving force and creativity behind Mezheri Xaleqi is brilliant composer and maestro Yousif Zemani.
