When I saw them Jake had an inflateable cast on his left leg so he leaned against his Marshall Stack and kicked ASS. I also saw Jake when he was with Ozzy in 84 during the Bark At The Moon tour and Jake is one of the Best EVER!!! i EVEN NAMED MY SON AFTER HIM. By far my fave guitarist
Back in the early 90's they were the next best thing to Led Zeppelin. Which says allot.
Check out the side view 0:39 being on stage yes we notice you in the crowd but sometimes our biggest rush is checking/reading each other while jammin the songs. You never know where another member might take a song any given night. What a rush.
Saw Badlands at a small club in Oakland on this tour. We were standing in front of Jake E. Lee's speakers. My ears were ringing for about three days afterwards!! Awesome show!! His guitar solo was the best I've seen live....
Saw them in Erie,Pa in 90 with Great White and Tesla too. Jack Russell's voice was shot so Great White didnt play. I remember Jake had a soft cast on his leg. GREAT SHOW. Where did you see them
Dude where did you find this? I was at this show... They opened for cinderella, I also think that white lion was on this bill... I got their set list from this show!!! I was right up in front. I know that shoreline shoots all of their show to show on the big screens... WHERE DID YOU FIND THIS?!
Got to see them twice at a little club in Fayetteville NC called the "Flaming Mug". They opened with this song on their first time through.
They kept the stage black and just let the intro build into this massive sonic tidal wave of feedback and it when it finally broke over the audience, out pops Jake just killing it.
Reminded me of those big wave surfers that get covered up in white water only to come unscathed.
Saw these guys back in the day at a club I frequented called the Mirage in the Twin Cities. Hands down, one of the best shows I ever saw. The intimate setting - awesome. And to boot it was so damn loud that it shook everthing loose. You needed to use the bathroom by the end of the show! It was GREAT! Jake is the best and I think never received the respect/recognition he deserved.
@rockdaddio You're right, Greg's mic is too loud. I think this was taken straight from the board. It sounds like we're hearing only half of the mix. The second bass drum can't even be heard. At 2:40 - 2:58 the bass drum hits are missing/can't be heard. Even so, this still sounds awesome. Badlands ROCKS! R.I.P. Ray.
