wow i need to learn other moves besides the seionagi :[ thats all i know (im pretty good at it too) but everyone can counter me now =_= this vid helped tho :3
Yes, works great, I went to a wrestling class a decade ago, and threw them all with it, they didnt have this throw in their system and weren't up to defending it, so it worked well. Heaviest guy was 120kg, and ten training there of club and lower national level 5 to 10 years experience...I am 80kg.
Suggestion: When you first start a match, during kumikata get a hold of your opponents right sleeve with your left hand. Then get the overhead grip or the lapel grip with your other hand. As soon as you get a good grip, COMMIT to the throw. If you do not commit, of course, you will get thrown. If you don't commit in any throw, anyone can get countered.
they do alot of sports in the olympics, like swimming, does that make the technique of swimming the best way of fighting? no. If someone puts there head down or ever leans over, they are vulnerable and a bad fighter
Heyyyyyyyy another SHIT-TALKER. I have to agree with frankieg60 that Kilik11 obviously knows nothing about combat. You are another dreamer. Why is there so many of you on youtube. Keep dreaming you FREAK!
Whatever you do you are still vulnarable against a great fighter. Its all action- reaction, if you are to upright you will be thrown backwards and vice versa. You will never be safe on the mat theres always a way to throw
It's easy to know and predict who's gonna get thrown, whoever bends over will be thrown. Also, why are they using strength, going on one leg, and mixing up their balance between their 2 legs so as to easily be pulled forward or pushed backwards?
They doesn't use strenght on one leg noob. They use strengh on the entire body, the technick is used in olympic so your opinion = nothing lol. The fact is, they do a lot of trick(Or deke, don't know the real word) to confuse the opponent before the uchimata, they don't just use the strengh
Ya great. It's easy to throw people who voluntarily bend over or voluntarily put their heads down. Someone who truly could keep there vertical up and down posture, would never be thrown by these chumps
These competitors aren't bending over on purpose. Judo uniforms and grips add a very unique dimension, and obtaining a superior position to set up a throw is extremely difficult work. A main principle of Judo is to position your opponent so they can't use their strength.

Uchi-Mata is the best throw of all ,i think.
But its dangerous because of getting counterattacked.
Very nice vid.
I can approve every Judoka to learn this fucking throw.

I like uchimata. But I don't think it's very dangerous. If you do it great, it's not a problem

Oh my god! You really don,t know what's a fight... Those people are just amazing, you can't do anything vs a perfect uchimata like that.
