I have been to afghanistan several times, and every time we find taliban we demolish them with air power and artillery. They have barely been able to even try to shoot at us. They cant shoot like we can, the snipers in our unit are devastating to the taliban. The talibans losses are staggering compared to few we have lost. The taliban dont have body armor like ours that can stop even the most powerful sniper rifle rounds. But what would i know?! I suppose u have been there more!

When the Soviets were in Afghanistan the Hinds were constantly breaking down and many were shot down, however look at the Apaches in Afghanistan now. A handful of the America AH64s designed ones have been shot down and none of the British modified Apache AH1s have ever been shot down. Seriously.

When the Russians fought the lithuanians it was right after WW1, it was basically man vs man fighting, and the Lithuanians had some help from the Germans. Russia would steamroll Lithuania today they would make the sky rain missiles much like we did with the "shock and awe" in Iraq plus Lithuania just doesnt have the numbers their military is tiny.

When the Soviets were in Afghanistan the Hinds were constantly breaking down and many were shot down, however look at the Apaches in Afghanistan now. This war is going to take a while because the point of it is not to kill the enemy, but to win the hearts and minds of the population in order to starve out the insurgency. Also, don't forget to look at the statistics, the kill/death ratio is literally 50/1. We've lost 1000 soldiers, the Taliban has lost over 50,000 personnel.

When the Russians fought the lithuanians it was right after WW1, it was basically man vs man fighting, and the Lithuanians had some help from the Germans. Russia would steamroll Lithuania today they would make the sky rain missiles much like we did with the "shock and awe" in Iraq plus Lithuania just doesnt have the numbers their military is tiny.

If they want to nuke us all we have to do is destroy the nuke with an Aegis rock then the X-37B can destroy their satellite and make "big" Russia powerless. Then, we may just return a few nukes onto Russia. And I guarantee we have many more warheads and many more, thousands of ways to launch them at once.

They can shoot down our satelites to if you didnt know and we cant shoot down every single missile they would fire at us. Most would get through because they would fire a shitload. The EODAS warns the pilot and allows him to fire back it would do nothing to evade incoming S-400 AA missiles, good luck avoiding multiple incoming missiles every time you fly into Russian air space.

USSR collapsed lol. It spent 25% of its GDP on military. The United States spends only 3% on the military. And the USSR couldn't keep up lol. Many former Soviet states are hurting badly now and none of them are very good militarily, except for Russia. NATO is better equipped and just as well trained. If it came to war, NATO would win. I know, I seriously have problems with obama unilateraly disarming our nuclear weapons. It's just plain stupid. However, our conventional military is so much more powerful than former Soviet nations. And we are also the most advanced nation in intercepting ballistic missiles and we still have a fairly large nuclear arsenal....for the time being anyway

Israel would destroy their aircraft before they even left the runway, like it did with Egypt's. Also, patriots had good effect on Iraqi aircraft and missiles, so I don't really know where you're getting the idea that Israel wouldn't just shoot them down. Israel is the dominant power in the middle east.
