This is one of those songs that, though not literally, kind of described my shyness and insecurities back in my teen (okay, and adult) years....... It's a sad, but beautiful, song which - to me - is a quick synopsis of the human condition and the inability to find the courage to say "hi" to that person across the room/aisle/etc. and, perhaps, meet their soulmate for life. (yeah, that's me..... lol) That said, I've always enjoyed playing those keyboard parts on my synths :)
