Seems these people have the an swers sometimes-rather strange they haven`t much more to do,would many refuse a good job at the banks?Pointless fooling i consider this protest even if well intentioned
WELL DONE and congradulations on a well thought out protest. Our best wishes to all Irish people in the occupy movement in Ireland from ZEITGEIST LIVERPOOL OCCUPY. We would like to discuss with you setting up some aquaponic systems on your occupy, sites and put our representative Zeitgeist LIVERPOOL occupy tent on your site as well to show our SOLIDARITY with Irish people in our common struggle against the Banksters etc. Please contact venusprojectxLiverpool@yahoo.com for our delegates.
Go down to the vita cortex building and join forces with them and stop this non-sensical occupying empty building baloney. There are no cameras there but your own you morons, 'this is the year of the awakening' bull shit. Those workers need more support from the public, not this fabricated 'LEGION' poncy shite. 'The people who are suffering are legion, the people who are profiting are few', sounds like your all reading comic books...
No increase in class size in today's budget! Maybe this protest had no influence on the decision, but sitting around on your a**e certainly had no influence.
Can protesting stop the repayment of bondholders? Debt "forgiveness" (what an outrageous term..) will happen, because we'll never be able to repay all that money. How much and how soon will be directly infuenced by how much moral outrage we show. Get out there and show it!!
I think video's like this are good to let people see that the occupy camps are just ordinary people who want justice. its also nice to see kids being told the truth for a change. At the occupy Waterford camp we are also putting out videos in an effort to show people what the occupy movement all about
Simple ,yet an effectively powerful way to raise awareness of the Occupy Movement. Showing the madness of how the banks got Bailed Out .and We the 99% got Sold Out . Support you local Occupy site <3 x
@beggo321 Yes, because it's not like we're making stupid cuts to education or anything. But I'm sure you think that's necessary and austerity works and education isn't necessary for us to recover, and that we negotiated a good deal with Europe.
@IrishDub18 - i know a few of the people involved in that protest and i know they have jobs - the teacher is a teacher, the others are dentists, university lecturers, and teachers again, so who actually do you mean? - the kids? anyway whats your point?
@IrishDub18 There are only so many jobs going around, and one person keeping to themselves and working one job isn't going to make a difference to the underlying problem. One person doing something inspirational just might. If you want to be apathetic, that's bad enough. But don't drag others down with you.
@IrishDub18 I was in that protest. I´m a student in social education and I work as a customer service representative. My girlfriend was also there, and she´s also working in customer service. Speak for yourself bud.
As the teacher on the day, I want to make clear that I or the children had absolutely zero interaction with the Gardai. The editing on this video overplays any involvement of the Gardai. I was never asked to leave, rather I was asked when would we be finishing and I said that we could finish now if they liked. I shook hands with several of the bank staff as we were leaving and most of them were quite bemused by the whole situation.
@robhmltn As a cameraperson on the day, I was definately asked to leave and had a less than positive interaction with a couple of members of senior bank staff.
I really like what you are trying to achieve by doing this, but I highly suggest editing your videos a bit better so that you can get the message across all of the social networking sites!

I think it's terrible that you used these children as puns in your so called "demonstration." If you want to make a point set yourself on fire!
beggo321 4 months ago
@beggo321 It's 'pawn' not 'pun'. You need to go back to school for yourself mate.
trishlingsolo 4 months ago
@beggo321 wtf. No one was harmed in the making of this demonstration. Do you agree with the point that was being made or what?

@beggo321 A lot worse will happen to kids like this if nothing is done. It was a day out for them.
