  • George Maharis had/has the MOST engaging speaking accent of any star I have ever liked. His pronunciation and inflection is a mixture [I hear] of New York eastern and a bit of European ethnic, even a tad of Yiddish flair. I could swear to hear him speak that he was just a good Jewish boy. I am African American (and more) making this observation. I love to hear him talk! Always did from a my childhood. Haven't changed that position for his zest in All-American 'Crown Speak'.
