George Maharis had/has the MOST engaging speaking accent of any star I have ever liked. His pronunciation and inflection is a mixture [I hear] of New York eastern and a bit of European ethnic, even a tad of Yiddish flair. I could swear to hear him speak that he was just a good Jewish boy. I am African American (and more) making this observation. I love to hear him talk! Always did from a my childhood. Haven't changed that position for his zest in All-American 'Crown Speak'.
Whole episode concept is a ' TIME SIGNATURE' stamp and page turn from early-era film stars, to the 'modern' TV era. Story line connotes with affection a quirky, spoofy (even sometimes goofy) hats-off admiration of a post Vaudeville, ostensibly, group of early 20th century period stars, in this case the horror genre. Interesting to see whom I turned out to discover much, much later in my life to be 'gay-rock' George Maharis pretending to be interested in the cheesecake on board the 1962 menu.
Dear Mr.Diesel, Yes! Mr.Lon Chaney,Sr. was the first actor to play "Qusimodo:The Hunchback Of Notre Dame'"on screen during the silent film era. But..this was the only time that Mr.Lon Chaney,Jr. ever got to play"Qusimodo"on screen.

I don't know why Boris and Lonnie didn't use their real names:William Henry Pratt(Boris)) and Creighton Tull Chaney(Lonnie) for this episode?

I was a kid and was with my father when we drove by the O'Hare Inn while this episode was being shot. We only saw a bunch of equipment though.

This is the only time that Mr.Chaney,Jr. played"QusimodoThe Hunchback Of Notre Dame'".
P.S.I'll bet that that little kid is not Lonnie Chaney,Jr.'s grandson Ron.
