Your theory of things falling down after 100yrs due to gravity is flawed, there are many structures(man made & natural) that have been standing for more then a century (100yrs),this experiment has to do more with air pressure effected by heating and cooling, I'd explain... but don't think it would help

i know you all know this, but i think i figured out why this works... the fire uses up the oxygen in the bottle, and since the egg is nearly completely blocking and oxygen from entering the bottle, it creates a vaccuum inside, which sucks in objects with a flimsy surface, such as a boiled egg.

The experiment was a failure. it went too slow and so it sheered off a side of the egg and crushed it as it finally went through. The paper is not needed unless you light it then place it in the bottle. as it wont catch proper in the bottle due to the fire eating all the oxygen inside. You have to rapidly change the inside/outside pressure to get the egg inside. If done proper the egg will be sucked inside in seconds. and will be not be broken at all.
