They not only have to be durable but also provide more grip than the foot alone dose the sole of the shoe must be firm in the right places and soft in the others the treads must also not hinder this also I suggest a minimalist shoe with a split toe like Zemgear or five finger barefoot shoes

ok i love the look but putting a chip and sensors in a parkour shoe is STUPID!!! that chip would be broken very quickly. plus it would cost a tons of money especially considering parkour shoes at least for me last an average of 4 months.

the problem is slimming down the overall shoe to meet the parkour 'look'; bigger, flowing pants, well fitting slim shoe (thats durable), and shirt (which is always optional)

the problem; its a bit contradictory to manufacture a shoe thats compact and long lasting.

I still want a pair or two :)

i dont think this shoe will prosper, due to the lack of impact absorbtion the shoe has to offer. they coulda used some of those rubber springs, like the addidas bounce on these shoes to help with that and also that would give you some momentum back with every step.

@TOXICPR0DUCTIONZ Using shoes with impact absorption like you suggest makes you dependent of the shoes. Using shoes with thin soles and no absorption makes ur techuniqe good, for running, suspension and landings etc. thats why they are thin.

@TOXICPR0DUCTIONZ quiet true, but how do u know how much absorbtion this shoe can take? if uve heard of feiyues, they have same basic design, i use the fake ones and they absorb alot of pressure even from big drops, but yet again u still need technique along with it for the absorption to go along with it, but i know what u mean

@TOXICPR0DUCTIONZ to much impact absorption in a shoe can teach you bad technique and can make you take jumps your not quite ready for. so for a training shoe, this would be pretty good

@JoeStack96 i used to think its the shoes that help you parkour. (thats when i first started) now its not really the case. im usually looking for grip i dont care about hte shock absorbancy cuz i can absorb that pretty well without hurting my self. Any shoe has grip which i like but one im having a hard time finding is one that does does and every other thing. My shoes does everyother things pretty well just not rails :P my Nike LunarSwifts. there horrible for balance though T..T

@argonzeit The reason why one rolls is due to the physics of it, increasing the duration of exposure to the force means it's spread out over the time of inpact. It's also why you bend your knees; to increase that time.

But mostly, we just do it naturaly =3 Probably because we're the descendants of monkeys. XD

@JoeStack96 it wouldnt hurt like you think. i used to wear Vibrams when i went to go parkour and at first yes it did. but your feet adapt to being barefoot like its supposed to and falling doesnt hurt cuz instead of using artificial absorbance it uses your the way your foot is arched and it feels great. oh and thats why you roll when you hit the ground
