Too many people get HIt with these things..

  • What do you think about the H106? The shots look really good!

  • Great!! 2 problems: No viewfinder. When you use it on a sunny day all you can see is yourself reflected in the LCD screen, so it is very hard to track a subject. Also, focusing is bad in low light and low contrast scenes. It did better than I expected in this case. You can see that it doesn't focus in the first shot even though it isn't all that dark. Otherwise, excellent quality. I watched some raw footage on my 42" plasma and it looked MUCH better than I expected! Much better than on YouTube!

  • Thats sounds pretty good.. is the SSD technique as promising as you expected?

  • Well, I have never owned a video camera before so I cant really compare. But it does start up fast - around 6-7 seconds or less I think and works pretty quick. The touch screen LCD is cool too! When I plug it into a computer via USB it shows up as a HD and I just copy the files off. Very nice. The software is also stored right on the camera and installs on whatever computer you plug it into. I had a lot of problems with the video editor and bought a different one though.

  • absolute pleasure to watch! the rain, so awesome how it comes ur way!! Great vid, 5/5 :)

  • Thanks!! It was cool watching it happen. Always is, actually.

  • I agree - best video of the approaching storm yet - boy did it move fast - hope there was more video while in the storm!

  • Best video of the storm I've seen so far. Awesome!

  • Looks like you captured that incredible greenish colour I wasn't able to get with my camera. Amazing video.

  • awesome video

  • great vid. the best way to see this storm move is after it all loads, click advance like every 30 seconds and u will see how much it advances

  • ohhh man, that was great.

I remember watching this happen as well

such a scary, but equally interesting, experience!

that storm was horrid to the max!

  • Its a great capture. just like a Hollywood movie.

  • it reminds me of the movie, The Mist by stephen king.
