im a filipino but i like leila lopes tho shamcey deserves 1st or 2nd runner up she deserves higher....when shamcey was called here leila looked in her direction like saying CONGRATULATIONS......she knows shamcey is there and she seems happy about shamcey being called......so pretty much i think leila deserves it....sorry about my country men...who net bashed leila i apologized for them...leila is a queen even before she steps on the stage..

For everyone that is complaining about Brazil making it this far she made it because of her gown. If any of the other countries had worn a better gown they would have made it. The top 5 made the top 5 b/c of their gowns. Those were the best gowns in the pageant. That's what got Brazil to the final 5. Nothing else.

Last year M.U was in USA and Miss USA was out of the top 5, in 2007 M.U was in Mexico and Miss Mexico was out of top 5 and in others years happened the same so some people have to learn to loose ! Miss Brazil got a classic beauty and her parade was amazing ; i don't like her dress but the way she walked moving her dress with much charm and elegance flying like a bird was beautiful . And she anwered her question with much secure ! Classic Beauty+Amazing parade+ Secure put Miss Brazil on top 5 !

If you will notice, Philippines showed such a confidence in all course of the competition and that should have been highly noticed. She stood out with her "tsunami catwalk"! and I believe she deserves the crown or at least higher than that. She also had the best answer to think that she's the only candidate who didn't have an interpreter! What a crap. Brazil didn't deserve her place. She placed because they're the host country.

@chantatum07 Interpreter. Okay, this is a pageant, representing their countries. I think using your own language is one way to represent your country. Also, Lea Salonga admitted that she placed Miss Angola as the Miss Universe because she totally deserved it.
