  • The good artist will be the one who renounces to earn huge sums of money, all the rest is bullshit, conceptual and abstract art serves the purpose of making money, NOW a real brave artist would ALWAYS challenge those rich people who buys their art! HAHAHAH

  • once an art becomes comercial or made for profit or fame, it looses its art, anyone can create somthing to put in a gallery, but a true artist would rather perfect his art and have fun with it.

  • Love this, it is so true to life. Modern or conceptual "art" is like the emperors new clothes.

  • Thats modern art for you

  • it's great, I like the way they interact

  • This is cool.

  • Trite.

  • the last one was great to see their faces when they thought they were sitting on a million dollar work...priceless

  • Comment removed

  • I like the end, .... and when you're confronting the public with the palaces where they sit

  • this sucked and I am way into art... I like Banksy much better, was this done by the real anti-art community like conservatives? only people not into art would realize that there are already anti-conceptual art movements more effective... then again I have been to MOMA and it can be pretty stuffy...

  • Excuse me, is this a work of art?

  • hilarious!

especially since the 'works' are entirely relevant to the artists used on the labels. clever. me like

  • excellent!

  • and please, dont take offence! its great!

  • brilliant idea and its really funny!

...but youre a set of bastards for doing that!

  • Amazing!!!!! I love it. I only want to see more from this collaboration :D Send more. My only regret is that I didn't have the chutzpah to do it myself. Love this concept though.

  • Brilliant! Brilliant! It's high time the po-faced seriousness of pseudo-art was mocked in this way - congratulations!

  • I find it quite lame that the vandals hide the fact that they are posting the signs. I bet these people think they're real snarky.

  • eh, I've seen the same kind of commentary done in a more effective manner. I just hope you realize how essential conceptual art is in the stream of consciousness that is art.

  • buenísimo Ana! (soy la roomate de Caro en Chicago)

  • Very clever and funny !

  • Screamingly funny!

  • Wow, this is a perfect response to "the Fountain" and "the Brillo Box". Thanks for helping me be totally confused like I'm supposed to be about what is ART.

  • ummmm...ok i don't get it XD

  • i went 3 seconds into it and im already confused

  • I think the people who make the choices (or curate) exhibitions sometimes suffer from the delusion they are more 'artistic' than the viewers they serve and consequently are completely vulnerable to the 'emperors new clothes' syndrome. Good vid... Hewins

  • It is funny but the project has nothing to do with art, I don't understand who are you fighting with or what; conceptualism is not a science, (obviously), and it doesn't want to prove anything as so, pragmatism is not part of the theory of conceptualism; not as far as I know. -Please reply.-

  • who said that conceptualism is a science? Actually can you explain to me what conceptualism is? for what I can read you may know better than I do. And I am not fighting, I was just making a commentary about an issue that is very well known in the contemporary art field.

  • Hmm I think its fun but the last part is annoying making the two ladies get up just because

  • awsm!

  • This is a great idea and makes a solid statement... Other artists have done it, but it has been done differently each time... Urban Arts projects, Banksy did it in England. This is good work.

  • wow you guys are so creative. have you heard of marcel duchamp?

go shop at urban outfitters and get some more great ideas.

  • Have you heard of Rrose Sélavy? details

  • Complete rip-off of a far better executed idea advertising BritArt in the UK (Bench; 1982; wood, metal, chewing gum, ink scribblings) as seen in countless advertising and creativity books, but oh well... thievery and lack of originality is often the best compliment.

  • yeah, because we are all reading advertising books! Especially for art ideas.

  • I love it!

  • guepa, velez :D

    golazo

    besotes desde aca

  • fantastic! :-)

  • this is really funny.... good job ana!

  • The most wonderful thing in the project is the way the people reacted when they observed the little plate saying that's art.

    Nice job!

  • that's stupid. banksy without the creativity.

  • exactly what i thought! i hope they get arrested.

  • haha great :D

  • nice! súper divertido, hace poco estaba viendo en el libro de bansky sus intervenciones en museos y pensaba que sería lo máximo hacer algo similar. LA debieron pasar bomba...
