How about this? What Eve saw in the garden of eden was a nachash, translatable as either "serpent" or "shining one". I believe the movie portrayed the aliens as angels, but some could as easily say that these beings were "shining ones". The plot reminds me of "Childhood's End" by Arthur C. Clarke. In that book aliens reflective of religious myth save the children of earth who then evolve into a higher form of life on another planet.

The "Aliens" are angels because they had wings and the apparent idea behind this is similar to Noah's Ark: God was cleansing the world and allowing humans to start again. Hence the rabbits - two of ever animal. Not my kind of ending but I liked the rest of the film.

this movie looks great, i just wish they'd picked an actually talented actor for the lead role. cage has played the same character in basically every movie since gone in 60 seconds (except of course ghost rider was a different role, and we all know how much that movie sucked) and its gettin pretty old. oh well hopefully the supporting actors can make up for it.
