is there a telephone number or an email address to order video featuring Miles Platting Junc Signal box, Brewery Sidings, Collyhurst Street and Hollinwood signal boxes as shown on video clips???
I used to work to this 'box from next door too...Brewery sidings(made redundant and transferred due to MV resignalling).
Brewery was lothed to pull the outer distant on the DN main Rochdale because it stuck and held his section signal off(wish i'd got a pic of the siggie leaning out the window with a brush to bash the post next to the window!).
Ahhh... Woody's Cat !!! I have him providing a soundtrack to one of my clips somewhere. The only cat I ever knew that would come to a whistle. As for 6H36, ask East Jct, nothing to do with me !!!!
Excellent video John, is that you in the box by any chance? I remember passing that box behind Oliver Cromwell in April 1968, whilst I was recording onto my Phillips Tape recorder..oh those were the days..5*..Bob

What would that be 80 lever frame?
Very good vidio.

I'm pretty sure it was 92 levers but I could be wrong.

Excellent box for playing cricket in,when double manned .The memories, broke many a window and blamed it on the locals lobbing bricks at the cabin.

At Collyhurst, you didn't need to make up stories about local's bricking the windows.

I just remembered the cat's name. It was Splodge short for Splodgenessabounds.

Yes Bib, that was me in my last year of signalling. The signalboxes last year too. Never saw the box in the 60's though sadly.
