  • This is hilarious. Interestingly enough she has deleted both her Twitter account and her blog and i think we know why. Parroting the regime and the Russian line about the conflict won't have won her many friends amongst those who have lost relatives. I would lay money that she's been ferried away to safety by Gaddafi's forces, from which she will continue to put out their line. Her parents must feel so ashamed.

  • this lady has deleted both her Twitter and Wordpress blog accounts since yesterday. On which she showed posing with Gaddafi supporters last weekend. Coincidence? I wonder if her name is even Lizzie Phelan. Great way to earn money for sure, doing business with the Gaddafi's.

  • @Elwink Perhaps she did delete it out of free will, in order to protect herself from being shot by the Rebels. Perhaps she was forced, perhaps someone else removed her website and the one from Thierry Meyssan - waterput.yolasite.com/english/voltaire-net-has-been-shut-down-more-censorship-due-to-libyan-situation-

  • I wonder if Lizzie Phelan is actually reporting from Tripoli. It looks more like she is on the moon.

  • i know better than to read the comments, you fuck heads still believe the nato lies as if iraq and afganistan publicized lies happened a century ago,you attacking a brave women for holding the mirror to your ugly faces of shit, you believe the fucking criminals who wants to exterminate half the population and enslave the rest under a one world government, watch katy perry's new video mother fucker and stay out of politics, you don't deserve the truth BITCHES

  • congrats Lizzie you now look ridiculous

  • @bensonrecon As there are many journalists strongly biased against the Green Jamahiriya and pro-NATO, there are others that tend to be biased the other way round a bit too much. But I like to hear both perspectives occasionally, instead of the same pro-NATO pro-Rebel and anti-Gaddafi propaganda talk of most western journalists, of which some are accused of actually providing coordinates for NATO to bomb. Lizzie provided interviews with people who support Gaddafi which is very useful as well

  • @WolkenZwemmer OMG, she provided interviews with people her gov't minders found for her? How brave and intrepid of her!

Both perspectives? What, those completely delusional and those only slightly so?

  • @bensonrecon Journalism needs a new category to describe what this woman is doing. "Delusional reporting" might be a good name for it.

  • @tozzila couldn't agree more as it certainly isn't journalism. It's the modern day equivalent of Baghdad Bob.

  • Outdated, bad journalism.

  • More Orwellian doublethink and fantasy from Ms. Phelps. It's the inadequate fools who believe here that worry me.

  • @HKSojourner You should look at the MSM!!!

  • Gawd. If she's going to lie for pro-Putin"s RT, they should at least coordinate their video. Background news video footage contradicts her saying Its celebratory gunfire and fireworks to celebrate the roundup and capture of rebel forces. She believes the regime's Moussa Ibrahim because she re-quotes his figures as facts, such as 1200 killed on Sunday - when in fact the various cell phone and news footages show no dead bodies in the streets. This chick must be getting paid from Putin/Medvedev.

  • WolkenZwemmer you are an brainwashed western f..k!

  • the reporter's look at 4:42, 4:43, 4:44 is priceless she's clearly pissed off that hers words have been misquoted lol!!!

  • That reporter is full of shit. She sounds like a lowclass scumbag how did she get a job as a reporter

  • she's either stupid, or just shamelessly earning money in a twister way. Can you only tell one side of the story? Western media does ACTUALLY tell two side of the stories and let's us judge. Story of the rebels AND of the government. Unlike you want us to believe, Russia Today.

  • @Elwink As you know the other side of the story is getting nearly all the attention, that's why I prefer to present the perspective that hardly gets any attention, representing those people who are against NATO's intervention in Libya. Read more about on h ttp://waterput.yolasite.com/english/swimming-against-the-tide-of-nato-s-and-qatari-media-propaganda-on-libya

  • @WolkenZwemmer well, that's nice if it's journalism. But it's not. They don't go out on research unlike the Western media who is reporting on both sides. This is just useless journalism aimed at influencing certain people. It's a disgrace and harming many lives, this kind of journalism influences many people's process of thought and that's why I'm glad that bit by bit, more objective journalism is taken over, Which means: always reporting two sides of the story, and go out to verify it.

  • @Elwink I have lost my faith in 'two-sided journalism' long ago. In case you haven't noticed: how many western media have you seen that talked with civilians who oppose the Rebels and NATO? Have you seen anything of the big green anti-NATO/Rebel demonstrations that have taken place? There is war propaganda going on to make the Rebels look like heroes and their opponents as fools, brainwashed by the 'dictator' Gaddafi. But, like I said, you don't have to watch this channel.

  • @WolkenZwemmer haha this is absolute hilarious, you either haven't been watching the famous international Western channels (and local Dutch channels), or you have special reasons to blindly take one side, the immoral side. Western channels, both local and international, are constantly showing the Green Square and quoting the Libyan government's view, interviewing the spokesman and whoever is available. I just saw it, once again. Come on man, get on the right side of humanity.

  • @Elwink

"get on the right side of humanity" ... and bomb the shit out of Libyans ?

    NATO-GTFO !

  • @WolkenZwemmer and btw, I'm not saying you should just have faith is some journalism, no! You should analyse it with your own logic. It's wrong to just say: 'I've lost faith and close my eyes to it.' I don't even close my eyes to Russia Today and CCTV, even though they make me laugh and cry at the same time. But I will always chose the neutral path, and the fact is CNN, BBC and Al Jazeera are receiving my approval right now, and RT and some others are definitely not. Obviously.

  • @Elwink You have made your point. I don't agree with you. Take for example the 'neutral journalistic style' in nu.nl about the events of last night on nu(PUNT)nl/buitenland/2594456/kaddafi-claimt-overwinning-rebellen-in-tripoli.html.

  • @Elwink PRICK, GET THE FUCK OFF THIS CHANNEL YOU SLAVE.

  • @Elwink i hope there is justice and nato will help you with problems in your country too

  • @WolkenZwemmer

They've shown tons of that. Many articles were written about the uncertain level of support in Tripoli waiting for the rebels.

Anyway, you're absolutely delusional, a sad little man clinging to a piece of a escapist political daydream you play out in your head as being apart of. It would be funny if you weren't being an apologist for a dictator.

  • @Elwink @Elwink which media outlets in your opinion are the most reliable? I'm yet to find errors with russia today, bbc, cnn, and aljazeera has so far claimed that Gaddafi's son Khamis has been murdered twice and it was false, they have also claimed on two occassions that Gaddafi had left the country and it was false. Having lied twice so openly how can anyone relie on them surely?

  • @evans4you

They reported them as unconfirmed news. Much like every inch of this very video.
