that's wicked dude, that terrible color only makes it cooler. I have always wanted to have a sleeper project, ever since my buddy raced a sleeper civic hatch. He was running a 550hp STI, from a 60 mph roll this primer black civic with the stock wheels and hubcaps with wheel studs sticking though and an intercooler the size of and envelope with 1 1/2" intercooler piping, just shit on us. I mean just squated and shat everywhere. My buddy had like 40k+ in his STI and lost to a turd

I myself have a turbo RSX-S I got whenI was 25 but when I was in highschool kids were jsut beginning to get into the inport scene and B18 VTEC swaps were rare and JDM cars like Skylines and RHD Civics couldn't be imported here in Canaa as they weren't at least 15 years old yet. Now I see little punks even in RSX'S and I don't feel as special sometime sin my car, I still love it

And are you stupid, you don't run a god damn car up past redline, there is a reason that it's there and your max hp is generally below it anyway... God does anyone know anythign about cars and how to fucking race?

@burninmunkeys Does what for 10 seconds? Idle high? Most cars idle high on cold start ups for a few minutes to warm up the motor a little quicker. I never ran that motor past redline as the ECU wouldn't let me (like in most cars). The red numbers on the gauge cluster were for the redline of the stock single cam motor. As for the rest of your comment... face palm.

@mugen112 Even when fired up cold my car will start at 1500 and drop down to around 800-900 after only 15 seconds at most. My ECU doesn't let me run above red line either... in neutral but it will pass 6k if I'm running it and just really want to blow a gasket or attempt to detonate my engine.

Do you REALLY think your crapalier is better than a honda? don't get me wrong here, I despise these little fart can equipped shitboxes more than anyone but the fact is, Honda's are the most well built and long lasting vehicles made. Whereas GM products, especially the cheap ones like yours, just don't hold up. Show me a cavalier with 300k on the clock.

@wisenthefools Well, I cannot show you a Chevrolet with 300k miles, but I can show you a Pontiac Sunfire (Cavalier equivalent) with more than 400k that my Aunt owns. I agree that Honda and other Jap cars do hold up for longer. But that also has to do with (from my perspective) that they're generally really undertuned engines so they can't cause themselves much harm. Also, I use to think Honda's were fast compared to Cavaliers until I got my recent one. 2.2L Ecotec, 0-60: 9.6 seconds, 127 whp

@burninmunkeys In some cases this is true BUT in most cases the Japs actually try to get quite a lot out of the engines for example the Toyota 3S-GE rev.3, which is a normally aspirated 2L inline-4 16 valve, will put out about 175ish bhp (0-60 mid 7's) and the Honda Civic VTI which is a 1.6L inline-4 16 valve and puts out either 140 or 160bhp (cant remember). They both last forever aswell. I don't know why their engines last so long, they just seem to be made extremely well!

The newer ones are much better like the new Celica 1.8L with 190bhp (0-60 7.4s) and the Civic type-R 2L (6.6s) with 200bhp, both normally aspirated, do you get those ones in your country? I prefer the older cars to be honest becuse they have proven to be reliable because of being that age and still running strong. Time will only tell if the newer ones will live up to their predecessors....
