i had a friend who's father mother and three siblings all died in a car crash. In new zealand the dinking age is 18. he drank heavely for two years, one bottle of whisky a night and on his days off 2bottles of whisky. He died this year from liver failure, kidney and brian damage. we need to realise that just because we personally feel that we can handle the drink, can others around us cope with our behaviour, and accesive drinking, not to mention our bodies. its not the drink, its how we drink.

Do they mean drinks or Drinks as a term in this actual definition? If it is 'Drinks', then it causes approximately 0,75 promiles inebriety and is in some countries considered 'light'. If not, it's relative what a drink is and the definition fails a little bit:)

Good message. I see the point of committing to a definition with specific limits, but the truth is different people have different tolerances at different times. My tolerance is quite high, so some nights I can drink more than anyone I'm with...mixing beer, hard liquer and wine...and still be bored because everyone else but me is drunk. Then some nights two beers hits me like weed whacker.

Okay now, I always understood binge drinking to be when a person goes without drinking for very long periods of time, and then once they do drink they carry on for days/weeks, or however long their binge lasts, and then once they stop drinking, they go without again for another very long period of time.
The only time im on youtube is when im hungover. I had approx 36 standard drinks last night and I am still hungover at 7 pm. Time for a pizza I think :D

No way! Binge drinking is a crucial part of university life! I've just graduated, never failed a single class, got good grades and whats more, made heaps of friends while out at parties, doing silly things. Just never drink and drive, never drink alone and don't let anyone peer pressure you!!! Happy drinking at Uni!!! :D

The high prices at clubs is a good way of avoiding binge drinking... I'll usually grab a few drinks before going out.
When it comes to house parties though, it usually goes out of control which makes for good stories and something laugh about later. Drinking is fun with the right people.

Do they mean drinks or Drinks as a term in this actual definition? If it is 'Drinks', then it causes approximately 0,75 promiles inebriety and is in some countries considered 'light'. If not, it's relative what a drink is and the definition fails a little bit:)
Secondly, you can never sound persuasive if you READ the message. I don't know whether students at Queen's University really are privileged to have larger memories and brain capacity than others, but it's not obvious from this video:)

Good message. I see the point of committing to a definition with specific limits, but the truth is different people have different tolerances at different times. My tolerance is quite high, so some nights I can drink more than anyone I'm with...mixing beer, hard liquer and wine...and still be bored because everyone else but me is drunk. Then some nights two beers hits me like weed whacker.
Some people just don't know their limit or think drinking more puts them on a higher social scale. too bad

Okay now, I always understood binge drinking to be when a person goes without drinking for very long periods of time, and then once they do drink they carry on for days/weeks, or however long their binge lasts, and then once they stop drinking, they go without again for another very long period of time.
