  • Yep Caitlin was the best

  • smart girl i love you! more about teleportation please :D

  • if i could wake up to that face i just might become a morning person.

  • GENIE: Oh, all of ya. Come over here. Big group hug! Mind if I kiss the monkey? (He kisses ABU.) Ooh,hairball! Well, I can't do any more damage around this popsicle stand. I'm outta here! Bye, bye,you two crazy lovebirds. Hey, Rugman: ciao! I'm history! No, I'm mythology! No, I don't care what I am--I'm free!

  • Mmmm the commodore 64 is kinda sexy.

  • i am creationist

    you are cute though

  • Nobody knows how old the universe is my dear. Don't be so quick to ridicule others who have beliefs different than your beliefs.

  • keep your eyes shut and keep talking, flaming or whatever backfirefly7 ... (you know that light needs time to travel and if light has been on its way for 13 bil years, it must have come from somewhere around ... 13 bil years ago)

    stop believin, start knowing!

  • Are you kidding?

it's about 13.5 billions year old and it's proven by lots of evidences.

  • omg cute!

  • Caitlin is rly HD cute.

  • not a good way to provide an information. but the chick is good ; )

  • Funny, Interesting & Pretty; EXCELLENT

-5 stars! Although I may just be having a sweet crush on her. ;-)

  • I'm a 'deluxe hug only' kind of guy

  • Wow - Is this guy serious? LoL

You know the Earth is 4.5 billion years old. The oldest civilization (That of the Sumerians) was established 6,000 years ago in Mesopotamia. That's coincidental although they were polytheistic in all forms of their beliefs over the centuries.

In any case. If the Earth is 6,000 years old, where did all of these millenia-old fossils come from? How does a star's light 70,000 light years away reach Earth if it hasn't had time to get here yet from it's position?

  • The rth is how old? Do u no that fr real, or did u just suk up al the hot air frm the "siens" of ar time, a "siens" wich iz the product of an education system that cant even teach kids how to read and rite by the time they graduate after spending 13 or mor yrs in skool?

The Bibl sez the rth is a few thousand yrs old, not bilions as "siens" says. "Siens" regularly has to admit that it was rong, yet it acts as if its omniscient. :P

The fossils aint that old. The lite got here sumhow. We dont no.

  • Jesus christ. Spell properly please!

  • I was saving letters to make it fit. I'm actually a very good speller!

  • Ahahahah!!!

The bible says also that the sun is spinning around the earth!! There are tens of proofs that shows the earth to be about 4.5 billions years old

  • @supergiuovane

Where is your reference? WHERE in the Bible does it say the sun spins around the earth? If you can find it, I want to know!

Also, what proof is there that the earth is 4.5 billion years old? Was any scientist alive to observe its beginning?

  • @ccoraxfan Asking the sun to stop its motion to prevent the night to come? What else is it? Look for the Battle of Gamon if you don't know it. Also, direct observation is not the only way to prove things. There are rocks which are at least 4.1 bilion years old.Yes,actually the 4.6 billions years is more a model. Direct observation is 4.1

  • We all say the sun comes up and goes down, even though we know it's actually the earth spinning. It's called a figure of speech, and should be taken as such unless it obviously means more. This passage does not say that the sun spins around the earth.

No direct observation is possible! No man was alive 4.1 billion years ago to observe the creation of rocks. We merely assume that the rocks are that old, because "scientists who know lots of stuff" say it is so. What a bunch of hogwash!

  • No. Because scientists OBSERVES so, from isotopes, for example. Otherwise.. How can we say that electrons exists? How can we say that those small luminous points we see during the night are stars like our sun is? IS there anybody inside the sun to tell us that there are nuclear fusion reactions that provide its luminosity?

  • From isotopes you say? How do they know how long it took for the isotopes to decay? Radiometric dating is based on two all-important assumptions: that radioisotopes always decay at the same rate, and that matter always starts out with the same concentration of radioisotopes. Of course if the concentration was different or the decay rate changed in the past, then all calculations are wrong. And we have no way to prove the accuracy of these methods.

  • @ccoraxfan There is no reason for thinking that a given isotope decays at a different rate, because "it was never observed so" (I see that you like observations), and also because quantum theory predicts this phenomenon quite well. You have the typical attitude of people thinking that scientists make claims just because they "believe" -for some strange reasons- that things are like say. Science is ALWAYS debated, otherwise there would be no progress. Explain me the earth interior, then!

  • @supergiuovane

You can run tests to discover the composition of the earth's interior. You cannot run tests to determine the composition of a rock 4 billion years ago.

  • @ccoraxfan Why not? there are rocks that are unchanged because the underwent no mechanical or physical transformations. And with 6000 (or even 10000 or million) years old earth there are a bunch of things you cannot explain, such as its interior, its magnetic field, the plate tectonics, and a bunch of otherwise coincidences that point towards such age for the earth.

  • @supergiuovane

You do not know if they changed or not. You have no time machine to go back and see the condition of the rocks that long ago.

There are a lot of things in the world which cannot be explained. That is a testament to the amazing universe we live in, one which is bigger than our own ability to even comprehend it. But there are many theories related to the earth and its interior, and not all of them demand billions of years. I can believe the Bible and not compromise truth.

  • @ccoraxfan The amazing universe we live in is ruled by the laws of physics. Now, you can interpret these laws as rules that God defined for us.Scientists just look for these laws, and based on them the make predictions.Applying such laws they came up with the age of the earth, which is consistent with lots of evidences while, on the other side, a earth younger than few billion years would mean that God's laws have changed. The Bible is not a scientific book, in fact, it tells nothing about science

  • I do interpret the laws of physics as laws which God made. I also know that physical things change with time, and things we assume we know about the physical world today may not apply at all times in the past. For instance, some scientists today believe that light may have originally traveled at a speed which was orders of magnitude faster than today, which of course would totally throw off a number of calculations based on the assumption that light has always traveled ~3M m/s.

  • @ccoraxfan About the speed of light, it was probably like this, but just in the very few seconds after big bang. If the speed of light was much different in the past (let's say 10 billions years), then you would be able to well observe this. And you do not. People have the tendency to think that scientists do not take into account such things. And again: saying that the earth is some tens of thousands years old would make lots of things very difficult to explain

  • I'm not sure what this has to do with memes, but i'm now in love with this girl.

  • Me too!

  • I lol'ed

  • **video finishes**

    wat.

  • i am a suporter of crist and.. i just cant help but laugh at your statement their are so many wrong things in that statement

  • I believe it's 'Christ', but maybe I'm thinking of some other religion? lol

  • You talking to me? >_>

Isn't it just strange how on every video theres always a religious comment :3

  • Her voice gets too quiet. It's hard to hear her.

  • Yer but science says the universe is atleast 15 billion years old. According to your ways of logic, that must be true aswell. :)

  • BRING BACK CAITLIN!!!!!!1

  • u r so cute..

  • but how old was she when this video was made?

  • I love you

  • What an EXCELLENT little video. Cute and clever. :-)

Perhaps I won't give up on YouTube just yet, despite all my favourite music clips being gradually pulled ..... (sigh)

  • I wonder if the comments are flattering or creepy?

  • heck I had the Vic 20, just 5K RAM!!! most shoe laces these days have more memory.

    Will you hug me Caitlyn?

  • Caitlin, my lovely young friend, if you are to be replaced, remember that many an interim is later judged by history to be better than their replacement. Replacing someone popular is always an uphill climb. Whatever happens, we'll always have the most cards incorrectly guessed.

    Be well.

  • I can see age is relivent to this equation.

the early church fathers did not teach the days of creation as ordinary days.

many of them had been influenced by Greek philosophy, which caused them to interpret the days as allegorical.

  • boringg...srry...

  • She so CUTE !!!!! I love her eyes <3

  • agreed, perhaps that's why there's so many viewers :P

Im of course referring to dear Caitlins eyes lol.

  • Wasn't it WMAP that determined the age of the universe?

  • Nerd overdose, love it! Yay for Caitlin and C64 <3

  • I think I love you.

  • wow this girl is really smart

  • The internet can't kill you.

  • She is fit! and smart! ... i would ...

  • me too...

  • shit vid, you make no sence

  • how could they find out the age of the universe when they are not sure if the speed of light was constant during the big bang, how are they sure that at the time of the bang the speed was not 3000 or a million times the speed of light. Some scientists are retarded they think they know things, but they don't. God created the universe, there was no big bang and God is going to come back to judge it, so get ready and read the Bible and put your trust in Jesus Christ

  • vanityvideo, The speed of light is constant meaning it doesn't change, Ever. Regardless of the situation.

  • The speed of light does change. It slows down when traveling through a medium (like air or water). It can never be faster than c but it can be slower.

  • The speed of light changes when refraction is imposed upon it, ie. when traveling fom a more dense to a less dense medium or vice versa

  • how do you know, it doesn't change? have you tried all of the experiments in every situation to see if it changes or not, no you haven't, so stop spreading misinformation

  • No thanks I don't like to read science fiction.

  • PREACH!!!!!!!!!!

  • the cavitating oil energy generator sounds like a new spin on sonoluminescence which is probably useless but an interesting phenomenon caused by running sound waves through slightly compressed water.

  • Well I miss Joanne But Your Pretty Cool!

  • who let the jailbait do a video? naw that was pretty funny.

  • Damn, you look kinda hawt there today, Caitlin.

  • What happened to Joanne?

  • : (

  • CATCH-22 I read that in AP LANG its the best book I've ever read in that class!!!!

  • well, she's very, very cute, and know about space, that almost makes her perfect for a nerd like me haha

  • hey jamclips, here is another story: In 2008 a man went insane after spam crashed his email and couldn't get an important message and lost his job. he ended up finding spammer and killing him. if you don't don't don't stop he'll kill you too.

  • gotta love her

  • she talks weird...

  • it's called an accent.
