  • hey how to put Musin in the slide show ??

  • @o2jam84 music? the same way that you put the pictures. you add your music track to the collections, then drag it down onto the timeline and drop it on the audio/music layer.

  • Is it possible to overlay pictures in your slideshow???

  • @itisastormyweather

yes. i think you have to download some additional plugins though... i'll send you a link to check out.

  • yup thank you i finally did it

  • This is Great but how to zoom in while the video is working?

  • I cant hear him

  • @LilPrincess20911 Picture says a thousand words....

anything in particular you need help understanding?

  • Would you know how to cut the photo time display to under a second?

  • @Gcoups do you mean to make a photo be displayed for under a second? e.g. 0.20 seconds so it just flashes on the screen quickly?

if that's what you are trying to do, in Timeline view (Ctrl+T), just zoom in to the timeline as much as it'll go (Page Down), then click on the photo and adjust the display time of the photo by clicking and dragging the edge of the pic.

  • @Agnelum1 Yes that's what i mean. I drag the pic, however, it wont shrink to under 1 sec. e.g. I want the pic to only flash really qucik like 00.23 milliseconds

So would you know how to shrink it to under 1 second?

  • @Gcoups hmm. odd. have you zoomed in? i do find that WMM sometimes has these peculiarities like the time doesn't adjust smoothly.

i have tried it and on my slideshow i can get the time <1sec. if it's not too much of a hassle, i suggest starting a new project and put a pic on the timeline then see if you can drop that one to less than 1sec.

  • @Agnelum1 What i do exactly is drag my pics into the timeline bar at the bottom. And i am able to drag the edge of a pic expanding it to any time length i want but not under 1second. I tried double clicking and going through properties but niether did that work. And i tried 3 different computers. I might need a different program. But hey thanks for your help anyway sir

  • @Gcoups also, i just remembered, ensure that you do not have a transition effect applied to the pic you are trying to adjust. because if there is an effect (e.g. wipe transition into the next pic) then that will not let you reduce the display time to <1sec.

  • @Gcoups and the absolute last thing i can think for you to try is:

    1) On menu bar, go to "Tools" -> "Options".

    2) On "Advanced" tab, adjust picture display time by reducing the "Picture Duration" time (default is 5 seconds).

  • @Agnelum1 Lol finalll it has worked that way. Much thanks sir!

  • @Gcoups phew! success at last! glad i could help.

  • help my trans arent working when i try to put it on a pic!

  • @sonicfirep remember you can only put a transition BETWEEN 2 pics or 2 video segments. so when you select your transition effect, drag & drop it between the 2 pics/videos. the last pic/video can only have a fade out effect to end the video (e.g. you can't have a "dissolve" effect to end the movie because that last pic/video doesn't have another pic/video after it). to do the fade out, right click the last pic/video and the pop-up menu has a "fade out" option.

try it and let me know what's up.

  • i am getting sooo mad because when i try to drag it onto the timeline it doesnt show up so it's even visible and stays in the video for 8 hundreths of a second!! pleease help me

  • Try clicking on the spyglass with the plus sign on it.

  • I'm such a lucky gal! you are right I DO have this program. hmm doesnt seem too difficult.

    i'll see what i can do. big-ups!

  • good luck with it... let me know when you have made your first blockbuster feature...
