There have also been plenty of times where sound guys just aren't prepared or aren't equipped properly.

I can understand all of that. I've been there.

My question is, why did the curators let this go on for that long? I would've either pulled the sound guy or pulled the band.

If I was the band and the sound guys couldn't get a handle on things, I would've walked.
