It is a thankless job to point out such things--English is not even my mother tongue--but if more of us do then maybe we wouldn't be surrounded by complete idiots on a daily basis. This coming from a person who grades complete idiots for a living so I do have a vested interest.

the backplot narration at the start is ok, its matter of fact, clear and concise, like when you get similarly narrated movies and it turns out the old guy talking is the future self of the young boy in the film telling his life story, like i say its acceptable, that is up until 02:21 when he gets excited and says "of joyful laughter and human kindness" trying to be all upbeat and at that point my expectations for the movie plummeted, i may be wrong, though I fear I may be right unfortuntately
