Lucy's First Snow January 2007

When my westie had her first snow experience, she was frolicking like there was no tomorrow. and she rolled around A LOT

With the exception of the tail - this is freakishly identical to my last dog! Darker streak on the back, no silly westie haircut, stabbing at the snow - even the bark sounds the same. So awesome!

i have a westie and were from california so it dont snow but when we took her to the mountains wehre it snow she HATED it!!! and it was funny cuz since every thing is white there was a part of cement in a circle shape and she thought it was a hole so she jujmped ove it! haha sooo funny

Her middle name is Vanora. This is Scottish for "White Wave". She used to live at the beach, it seemed appropriate! Now she also has a Greek nickname "Lykaios" which means "Wolf-like"... but I still call her Lucy!

My kids are really allergic to dog fur...but Westies don't set off their allergies. Has your dad been around a Westie? I think they're like Poodles...hypoallergenic.

@Heretic526 duuuuude xDD your crazy  westie are good for alergic people i kow this will be late now but u can have a westie dog jorshier terrier too ( sorry if i misspelled that) westies dont shed so much but they need quite often brushing so they have nice fur as i know westies has hair not fur they dont spread the alergenes ( those things that makes you sneeze and be alergic) There family dogs there 1 of the smartest dog a dog dog . where were u all the time you should read more about dogs

@Heretic526 im sure im a little late but get a cairn terriers thye have hair not fur, my mom had the same thing so we got a cairn, and actaully a westie is just a white cairn terrier they were just so famos they got there own breed
