the knockoffs actually do more than the real ipods can. hell apple actually recently added a speaker to their ipods, which is what the chinese ripoffs had been doing for years, even those were ahead. i have a knockoff, now you need more knowledge of computers to use it but after about 10 minutes of learning how its totally worth it. i have yet to see an ipod mini knockoff however

yes this is true, although the ipods use lithium polymer batteries which are HIGHLY explosive. they blow up with a force at least 3x more powerful than a lithium ion explosion which is what the knockoffs use. though more powerful, lithium polymer was a retarded choice for apple to use. id say theyre both as reliable in the battery department now. although before when ipods used lithium ion ba tteries there were no problems with them exploding

Those things are usually of horrible quality. I've known people who have gotten them, and not only is the sound quality horrible, but they break very easily. Honestly, if you're really in need of saving money, go to Best Buy and get a Sandisk Sansa Clip+ for $50 because they're amazing for the price. It was better than an iPod Nano I paid $150 for.
