Seriously, I'd rather watch the original movie. How the hell did people like this show? I'm serious, I want to know how, was it something people remember with too much nostalgia from when they were 10? Or was it because this was the only show of its kind at the time?

@lich109 Like all comedy, it works for some people, and not for others. You get it or you don't. This show was well-liked and had a solid cult following well before nostalgia was ever a factor.

It is; the whole point of having signs. books, food containers in English is that the movie is set in America. Don't ask me why, but "Los Nuevos Extraterrestriales" is supposed to be American. Never fooled me a second (when I first saw the flick I though it was from Argentina or Mexico.)
