Man Doc's one of my favourite villains and this time I think Doc's done right, usually he's a little overweight but I like his short, fat look with the trench coat. personal favourite design here.
Now that all of THAT unpleasantness is out of the way...
I totally love Doc Ock, especially in THIS series. It's mostly because while he seems cold and callous, there are times when his humanity manages to poke through and remind us of what a sweet, vulnerable and unhappy individual used to be there and could still quite possible lie beyond the surface. He and Mysterio are my favorite villains in that aspect. One could always tell that Mystie was never EVIL, just a freak. XD

I loved the old series when I was a kid but now ... I watched some episodes today and I was like "wtf???" I mean the fights are sooo lame . Spidey doesn't fight at all, he always just spins some web around his enemy and then always gets grabbed by him. He looked so weak in the old series. In the new series Spider-Man is just ... Ok if Flash Thompson, and Liz Allen were together it's hugely misleading for Flash Thompson to be with mary jane, and Liz to be doing thing's she would do with her boyfriend mainly going through a scary ride, be so close to him, ask if peter is going to the carnival, etc. That was with Peter not Flash Thompson.
@Nightavenger2 It's actually a similar, or maybe updated, plot thread to the comics. In the comics Liz Allen was with Flash, but eventually got sweet on Peter. Back then, it was when Peter was dating Betty Brant (yes, they did date in the comic, Brant was younger and had to quit school to work for personal reasons). Liz and Betty had quite the feud over Petey.
I've fallen in love with this series. Despite being the farthest from canon (Eddie Brock and Peter best buds? haha), it is easily the most enjoyable. This show beats the crap out of the 90's series.
@lemontwisty The story in SSM leans towards the Ultimate Spider-Man series in which Peter and Eddie were friends, so it's not even a mile far from what happened.
@kaihedgie that's exactly my point, the ultimate universe wasn't canon either. i might be old fashioned, but i still refer to the amazing spider-man as the original, not that i don't like variations though
I like the look of Dock Ock. I the earlier episodes, I thought "God damn! This time they screwed this show. That can't be doctor Octopus. He's pussy, weak, afraid, etc etc etc." I wasn't looking forward when he became Dock Ock. But this episode proves how good this show really is.
Love this ep! Come to think of it I can't think of an episode of this show I don't love. But if I was Doc Ock I would have SLUNG Spidey as far away as I could before changing packs.

Comic book characters die and come back to life all time. Superman, Batman, Robin, Green Lantern, Green Arrow, the Flash, Mysterio, Green Goblin, Dr. Octopus, etc. It's a common thing.
He DID NOT die. When he was fighting Spider-Man he seemingly died, but was really at England. He masterminded the WHOLE Clone Saga, went to prison, supervised the Thunderbolts, killed Queen Veranke, became Shield Director, and is now leader of the Dark Avengers as Iron Patriot.

I mean yeah, he had other incentives like Taking Over The World (TM) and stuff, but his main motive was mainly just "make Peter's life hell for shits and giggles". @amartinez97 Osborn died after the issue when Gwen Stacy died that was during the 70´s but 20 years later they dicided to let him come back and being a pain to Peter again.
Can someone please explain to me how it could possibly be Peter's fault that Flash & Liz broke up if he had absolutely nothing to do with it? Sally Avril is indeed the biggest BITCH in all of Spider-Man!!! I truthfully believe that she hates Peter Parker. Someone please throw that girl in front of a moving bus.
Well in the comics Sally Avril does die she is in a car crash when the car she is in drives through a red light and gets hit head on by a bus and Sally is thrown from the car and is killed instantly, in the comics Sally has black hair and is'nt a blonde although she does wear a blonde wig for a time when she is the superhero Bluebird, spiderman tells her to stop being a hero and she takes up photograhpy and dies trying to chase spidey for a photo.
Sally clearly blames Peter for Flash and Liz breaking up with each other because Liz was with Peter going around coney island and liz was not with Flash so Sally must have thought peter was trying to get Liz and Flash apart, but I think Liz was taking Pete around to get Flash jelous because he was going round with Mary Jane and Flash was with MJ to get MJ away from Peter.

It's a concept from the original Spider-Man comic books. It's basically a serum which enhances strenth, agility, speed, stamina and dexterity, but as a side effeckt, it causes the one who consumes it to go insane.
Folk who write-off the style of this show as anime influenced are really giving the Japanese too much credit. Yeah, I don't doubt Sean gets some of his vibes from the eastern stylins, but it's not like the Japanese hold the rights to all styles involving cel-shades and exaggerated features.
They do, however, end up doing most of the animation work. If you thought Thundercats was a poorly animated show, you had the precursor to Studio Ghibli to thank for that!

@silverdestroyer123 And he did the *whole* thing pretty much just to dick around with Peter. I mean yeah, he had other incentives like Taking Over The World (TM) and stuff, but his main motive was mainly just "make Peter's life hell for shits and giggles". He's worse than Doctor Doom is with Reed Richards — at least Doom isn't so transparent in his pettiness.

@amartinez97 Osborn died after the issue when Gwen Stacy died that was during the 70´s but 20 years later they dicided to let him come back and being a pain to Peter again.

Sally Avril is indeed the biggest BITCH in all of Spider-Man!!! I truthfully believe that she hates Peter Parker. Someone please throw that girl in front of a moving bus.

Well in the comics Sally Avril does die she is in a car crash when the car she is in drives through a red light and gets hit head on by a bus and Sally is thrown from the car and is killed instantly, in the comics Sally has black hair and is'nt a blonde although she does wear a blonde wig for a time when she is the superhero Bluebird, spiderman tells her to stop being a hero and she takes up photograhpy and dies trying to chase spidey for a photo.

Sally clearly blames Peter for Flash and Liz breaking up with each other because Liz was with Peter going around coney island and liz was not with Flash so Sally must have thought peter was trying to get Liz and Flash apart, but I think Liz was taking Pete around to get Flash jelous because he was going round with Mary Jane and Flash was with MJ to get MJ away from Peter.

It's a concept from the original Spider-Man comic books. It's basically a serum which enhances strenth, agility, speed, stamina and dexterity, but as a side effeckt, it causes the one who consumes it to go insane.

Folk who write-off the style of this show as anime influenced are really giving the Japanese too much credit. Yeah, I don't doubt Sean gets some of his vibes from the eastern stylins, but it's not like the Japanese hold the rights to all styles involving cel-shades and exaggerated features.
They do, however, end up doing most of the animation work. If you thought Thundercats was a poorly animated show, you had the precursor to Studio Ghibli to thank for that!

in the movie the robotic arms had a mind of their own and the chip was there to protect his mind from the computer mind of the robotic arms, but once the chip was destroyed the robotic arms could take over his mind, in the cartoon the chip kind welded together with his spine and his mind, so yeah, in way it is kind of like the movie.
